Yes Fielder sorry. That was the guy I was thinking of. Shook his hand in one of the lounges once.

There are no words!!!! Well done to the bowlers. If this is the best we can do when batting, heaven help us. A new broom sweeps clean. -

Thats venkys rovers of 15 years for you. Not comparable at all. Baradji looks like he can play from what we have seen. Forshaw has been better than Tavares and Henriksson though which says a lot. TGH whilst not brilliant shouldn't be put in with that group. Think Batth was much better last season than McLoughlin has been this season. -

Paul Fielder…currently at Sheffield United

No. It wasn’t Fraser. Paul Fielder was the former head of commercial & NFT advocate who thought there was nothing special about Blackburn Rovers…whilst employed by Blackburn Rovers. In my dealings with Fraser, I always got the impression that there were many things he’d like to do that were quashed from above.

Oh great - the Club's unofficial PR Department is back to tell us what a great window we're going to have/ are having. If "the jury is out" on Tavares, Henrikssen and De Neve they must have been fast asleep all the way through the trial! Also slightly harsh on TGH, not brilliant, but far from the worst out of the sea of dross signed in summer. -

To date yes - I think batth was massively aided by hyam and the fact McLaughlin doesn’t have that experience beside him and he’s that man then yes all things considered I do again as I wrote at the beginning we are joint 7th best defence in the league (doesn’t feel like it but we are) he has been the main stay in that defence with others dropping in and out with injury so I’d say given all that he’s at least on a par with batth 100% -

Difference was Robbo could use both feet. Met him a few times when he was at Celtic with Martin O’Neill. Lovely man but a very heavy smoker all his adult life and he looked 70+ when he was in his 40s. RIP.

Fucking losers. Honestly the whole system in this country produces inept jellyfish. From school to county to England.

If people think McLaughlin is slow I shudder to think what they'd think of Batth in a back 3. -

Not sure as a fan I’ve seen enough to write any of the new signings off yet, though I understand why Vi believes he can. Heres my take: Has worked / shown enough - McLoughlin, Miller, Alebiosu, Morishita, Gudjohnson. Jury is out - Tavares, Baradji, TGH, Henriksson, DeNeve Based on circumstances, and our need to clear some space for the “3 or 4” Val wants, it’ll be TGH, and DeNeve at most risk, plus Gueye, Pickering, and maybe Kargbo. With a view to signing a RWB, O’riordan back from loan and 2x Strikers (1x foreign buy, 1x loan). Note - Midfield will need a full review in the summer. With Sonny leaving we’ll have to see if the likes of Baradji, Tavares, and Henriksson have kicked on. -

That'd be Yasir Sufi I assume you're talking about. What did he allegedly say?

That was Fraser Reed wasn't it? Allegedly his and Waggott's grand wheeze for the Riverside was to allow it to fall into disrepair to such an extent it would be condemned then try and get a grant for redevelopment.

Come on England, plenty still to play for. We won the toss and have put the Aussies in.
