  1. Past hour
  2. All conceded because of dodgy refs though.
  3. Not sure if he is "fit", but Carter is now back on the grass
  4. I'm lucky I live 5 mins away from Ewood. But totally get why people would rather stay home and watch it on TV. They really don't help the wider fan base. They clearly know people aren't turning up hence all the media touching on fans etc. Why not make it easier drop prices for the remainder of the season, draw some interest on these likely to win games and drum up some new support
  5. Game management or lack of by our “coach” “Seven of the 23 goals Blackburn have conceded in their 18 Championship games have come in the 90th minute or later, costing them seven points - which would have seen 18th-placed Rovers within two points of fourth-placed Stoke instead.” BBC article
  6. A week or so after the event, but not sure if I have seen these anywhere else before today
  7. And it could well be why they refuse to write off any of the debt (something it appears the auditor feel they should do…)
  8. COME ON YOU BLUES! Get up get loud on Saturday we need a home win!
  9. This is me…the significant cost of travel & a ticket…the investment of travel time…especially when it’s on TV & nobody in the owners/exec group really seems to care makes it all too easy to not bother. I’m not sure at this point I’ll ever recover the enthusiasm I once had…I suspect I’m not alone.

  11. Today
  12. Possibly yes…I guess you could argue that if they put us in admin they’d truly be beyond caring about any collateral damage & at least one relegation would be assured. There’s no getting away from the fact that Rovers have League One income but a Championship cost base. If I was tasked with running Rovers to break even then I’d be warning the fans to expect League Two football…
  13. 2.17% over base on an unsecured overdraft is pretty competitive TBH.
  14. Aussies now playing real Test Cricket! On the way to a big lead I imagine. We have had good moments but compared to them we are amateurs. No dabbling at balls outside the off stump while the feet are stuck to the turf.
  15. You can’t give them chances Jamie Smith, great delivery by Archer. Aussies playing Bazball here, flying along after a slow start.
  16. Yesterday
  17. He's more Bolton, I know. However, it's easy to forget a French world cup winner played for us for a short while too. Six minute highlights of this game:
  18. I don't think profits or losses come into it. The key thing is that they're moving around and the agents are clipping the ticket every time.
  19. Steve Cropper, one of the men behind the “:Stax “ sound. Superbly economical playing on “ Green Onions “.
  20. Billy Stewart - Sitting In The Park
  21. So, going off the Sheff Wed situation, am I right in thinking that if the V's were ever to put us into administration, due to the EFL "25p in the pound" rule, any potential purchaser would have to pay them a minimum of £55m? That could be extremely problematic.
  22. We have a mixture of players who are definitely capable of performing consistently in this League--Toth, Alebiosu, Trandstad, Cantwell etc, speculative gambles---Gueye,the 2 Japanese players, and those just making up the numbers to get us to 25---3 of your examples above fall into that category. There's no plan other than just carrying on from day to day, week to week as best we can. The trouble is the ones making up the numbers come on when players are tired and the game is in the balance. And the outcomes speak for themselves! I could add a 4th category---young lads from the Academy, and handled well they probably represent the best chance of a profit.
  23. it would take a biblical miracle to make a profit on deneve, henrikson.makhter and sidnei,if that is indeed the case, somebody is doing a bad job
  24. Going to reply to this before it becomes too late and both teams are involved in their own next respective games. Not going to lie, didn't see the game or follow action on the night. Were in Bermuda when it was underway and only returned to the UK last night but since then have gained reaction from here, TWTD and certain match reports etc. Fact of the matter being we once again got away with something we didn't necessarily deserve. We were fucking pants, played largely ineffective and never looked motivated or trying to take a result from it but in the end somehow got a point from it. I feel the need to apologise in that we rightly should have been beaten and after the unfortunate circumstances of the original fixture came away with something we really had little right to. If it's any consolation despite somehow getting a point from it we're a team in certain disarray right now. Inconsistent isn't the word and results are so haphazard you wonder what's going to arrive next. McKenna for all the once good he performed is a man under pressure and getting more distanced from a once loyal fanbase by each adverse score now. Some idiots had us as promotion favourites back in August or to be in #1 position by final game but after many years of support and seen just about everything bar a league championship, could tell that was never going to occur. We'll maybe scrape a play off position at the end of it at best but McKenna may not even be manager by that time. Next meeting is in January with a 1.30 start at Portman Road. Why they can't allow a traditional 3pm start time for this is not worth disputing as we're often given stupid or bizarre kick off times. Never know next what time or day of the week we're going to be playing as they move them around so often. Blackburn redemption for this result and indeed the abandoned first game may just occur in January as we're not going to improve so drastically by then to offer your team a credible challenge.
  25. that goal against wigan when pederson took a corner to himself🤣 refs were just as bad 12 years ago, they still keeping getting away with it
  26. The further deduction must have everyone thinking about next year in League One. Totally devastating with 60% of the season still to play. But I guess those with nothing to lose can be the most dangerous
  27. So are you saying it wasn’t even a foul?
