  1. Past hour
  2. I tell what end our promotion bid and it wasn't losing Eustace but losing to teams like Plymouth away, Derby away, Stoke home and away, Hull at home, Cardiff at home. Boro shouldn't have signed Latth in January window like they did. Yon don't sell your best striker when going for playoffs Do we know what is actually behind the scenes? we could be close to a signing or we might be, We have signed that fit the type of players Ismael wanted at the summer. And he wants to see if he going to be part of the first team squad first before committing.
  3. It's not a fixation but it's a pointer towards him being appreciated by the wider football community not just his own club. Daft you don't think it is.Playing for the national team at any age group gives bigger exposure than not being involved. He was playing in the under 21 tournament in the summer that scouts from all the major clubs and leagues would have been taking a major interest ffs.Poor players that have gone on to do nothing in their careers have played for underage teams nationally have I ever said they didn't. And if Whsrton was being appreciated as a world class talent outside of our fanbase and club(i include myself thinking he was )when with us you can guarantee he would have been making the under 21s and bigger clubs than Crystal Palace would have been in for him whether it was January or not I'm not comparing Wharton and Hackney, 1 of them got a move to the Premier league the other is moving to a championship club willing to pay more than prem clubs for him
  4. It's the 12.30 kick offs which are the worst for me,they can clash with the grandkids footy.
  5. Think they would struggle with ESC places for both him and Baradji.
  6. Never said that did I Simon but Shirt sales aren't one of those issues Care to explain why?
  7. That winger we supposedly wanted from Al Ittihad seemingly wasnt involved in the squad for their friendly v Fulham today. Their first 11 is clearly well beyond him with the likes of Bergwijn, Benzema and Diaby but he seemingly wasnt a sub either. Dunno if its still on the radar but worth a mention.
  8. I dont get this fixation with under 21 caps. Jason Lowe was the captain for them at one point. As if its critical and players only come onto radars if they have them. If you compare to Wharton, Hackney is 3 or 4 years older than what he was. And as you touch on, you cant compare to Tyjon etc who are unfortunately unprotected by the rules.
  9. Yet you're implying that the injury might not exist. Go figure.
  10. Today
  11. Obviously not a bowler but Pant will be a big loss for them too.
  12. It’s worse than that (or better depending on your perspective…):
  13. That's like Tesla stock, but over a slightly longer time.
  14. Thought you were quoting some Latin then, honestly πŸ˜‚ I'm imagining Emma Watson saying it.
  15. Rigg is still at Sunderland and hasn't been sold . Hackney has been a regular for boro for 2 seasons now and had was has been involved with the England under 21s.And also some reports are suggesting the fee is Β£15 million rising to Β£20 million which prem clubs haven't bit at ,so Boro wouldn't have got that fee for him from a Premier league team, as if they could Hackney would be wanting that move not staying in the championship We ain't unique with Phillips, Finnernan etc championship clubs lose their better youngsters in the exact same way all the time, even the prem clubs get their young players poached by bigger prem clubs for similar fees We did it with Tyjon ourselves to Rochdale. The rules need changing but crazily it's the efl clubs who voted these rules in
  16. Rigg? Hackney? They weren't stolen before they could sign a pro contract like Phillips, Finneran and now potentially Tyjon.
  17. Looked it up. -18.34 %? That's quite a lot.
  18. Players play all the time whilst carrying injuries so that's a nonsense statement, christ just look at one of the England women's team who played a tournament with a fractured tibia just recently. I'm not disputing for one minute that Venkys are a set of cunts with how they go about their business like, need to make that perfectly clear!
  19. What's the percentage reduction over the year?
  20. If a footballer fails a medical its between us and them, they're technically medical records subject to confidentiality. Whilst they're a tiny club compared to us and won't have amazing facilities, you'd like to think they're aware of an underlying issue though.
  21. oh dear,what a shame,are they in serious troubleπŸ˜†
  22. Share price at a 52 week low today on concern over reduced profitability
  23. The big difference here is Rovers have not made any comment relating to this player. From the club's perspective, I'm not sure they've even acknowledged any transfer activity relating to him - therefore there's no PR benefit/own goal. I'd be inclined to agree with you had they done the promo, announced the signing etc. however, to me, it's not unreasonable for any club to reconsider a signing should they be concerned with the medical outcome. As others have highlighted, it's happened with other players, Fekir probably the highest profile in recent years. From what I recall after the Liverpool transfer fell through, he didn't have any major injuries. But a club can reasonably not want to take the risk.
