do you know what wage GB offer him or just more speculation from you? given the number of contracts he got Players to sign suggested the wage offered was rubbish from yourself is wide of the mark. Maybe Dolan decide 2 years he wanted to test the water and have a choice of clubs he wants

Its wasn't but my point I was making is more than relevant to this thread. Nicko is a source of info. That's it. Don't live on every word either just for the record either. -

Have both set of owners invested in their clubs with money without putting debt on the clubs like some other owners of clubs like United and Liverpool? That's all supporters want is good ownership and investment into their club. -
Coupled with a total lack of empathy towards others who are affected by constant kick off time changes.
-
Yeah, probably because the wage offered was rubbish. Offering him 10p a week is "trying to get him to sign a new contract."
-
Back in the day we used to arrange our holidays, family events etc around the fixture list. No chance I’d do that now, imagine missing out on a good September deal for your hols so you don’t miss Millwall at home.
-
Gregg Broughton tried to get him to sign a new contract more than 2 years ago and we couldn't.

what don't you get? time or day aren't a problem at all, I have been used to attending Rovers matches on different days so its no difference nowadays compare to 5 or 10 years ago. Also to add this is main social activity with my bro and nephew. We enjoying attending Rovers home games and also hopefully more away games next season with my missus getting better after serious illness. You and others might not be able to attend for different reasons but plenty of us to attend every home games. -
How can they know he’s the leading candidate (laughable if he is) without knowing who else is willing to consider the role??
-
if Venkys want to appoint Gestede they would have done it already in my opinion. Why employing an employment agency to find a CEO if the leading candidate is already within your organisation. I think it will still be another month or so before we appoint a new CEO

You mean the ones we are likely to subsequently lose for peanuts? Not sure we are actually gaining much from it. Last one I can remember benefiting us was Raya, and that was from abroad. -

I can’t help but feel like you’re bragging there 😁😁 -
You're one of the few people on the planet who have literally no other plans, ever, than to attend home games at Ewood no matter what time or date......

Yeah I remember seeing him playing for Bournemouth on the left wing with Harry Redknapp on the right wing. He was a seriously rapid winger. He died very young. The rumour was he was doing a bit of horizontal jogging at the time. -
I feel a bit like that to be honest. I’ve got friends who go to his live shoes and rave about them.

What on earth are you talking about and how's it relevant to what I posted? Why would we complain about signing talented young players? That's like saying we're upset we shagged a lass just because her ex was inferior. -

Yeah, bad day at the office for Hornets. I’ll see what she says when she gets back. -
A few pointers - rovers had 2 sets of accountant doing a sweep and review of the accounts 2 years ago and no evidence of impropriety was found then! Indian government and their financial departments have absolutely no jurisdiction over Rovers or the venkys companies based in the UK. As far as anyone is aware HMRC have not got Rovers in their sights - we just are a club with huge financial outlays/contracts and image rights! That’s where their investigations lie at the moment !
-
He is if the clubs in question have any ambition and are offering him a reasonable wage. We I am pretty sure could have got him signed long ago had we offered him a decent wage.
-
Players don’t often get signing on fees outside of the big leagues they are built into contracts and the longer they stay the more they get ! TD is slightly dreaming if he thinks he’s gonna walk into a PL squad he just hasn’t got the ability - he may get a choice of championship clubs but really are they better options than staying? I don’t think so personally
