Your opinion on Cleverley being sacked is one thing, wishing them to be relegated is another! -

As a youth, most things are more vivid - I remember new signings being hugely exciting. In particular, I learnt about Jimmy Corbett signing from Gillingham, I think, and read he was considered the new Ryan Giggs. I wish I could still get so happy about so little! -
Glad to hear it Chaddy 👍

Needs to play alongside a target man for me. That's how we will get the best out of him. Hasn't got the equipment to lead the line.

Explained why my opinion changed on Ismael and he proven my opinion was wrong. I can hold my hands when I wrong. You don't asked other members who had similar opinions as me. Why not ask others. You wouldn't tho. I have made my opinion on Watford on Cleverley sacking just like I did with WBA sacking Mowbray far too early in my opinion -
Your end of season summary
chaddyrovers replied to den's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
You would! We didn't make playoffs cos we didn't pick up enough points. Simple as. We made progress on the pitch this season compare to last. Pass most expectations where they thought we would finish. Pundits all wrong. -
You would! It was the players who cost us a chance of the play offs by sulking for six and a half games after Eustace left so I'm not sure why people are queuing up to lavish praise upon them. I think den is the only one who has it right with his appraisal, at the end of the day it was another wasted season in what has become a race against time given the problems presented by the ownership and management.

The Bury home match was my first visit to Ewood - we may have lost, but it was a party atmosphere. Everyone ran on the pitch - with my memory being how sandy it was 🙂 -
So you’ve now decided we shouldn’t have sacked him after a month after all, not only that, to repent your sins you are now calling out and wanting relegated other clubs that still do sack managers quickly, fair enough, nothing like a zealous convert to a cause.

A very good signing for what we paid, and I think if not for injury he would have gotten into double figures.

Yet again Matty I posted my opinion and my reasons for that opinion in the appropriate thread -
I have made this point several times. I think Ohashi season was very good and expect him to kick on again next season

At least they won’t be coming in for Ismael. -
It's a point worth considering, it's been a very long season for Yuki (albeit with an injury-induced 'rest'). You have to wonder if he might have a better season when he hasn't had to play nearly continuously. The flipside of that being it's very possible his excellent start with us was down to already being essentially midseason in his match fitness whilst others were barely past playing friendlies. Will be interesting to see how he gets on next year. Been a useful signing for the money, but we do need a top scorer on more goals. Lewis Baker has scored only one less goal this season and he's a midfielder.

So much hypocrisy and still none the wiser as to why it would make anyone want them to get relegated. -
Some really good strikers goals in that video clip. What’d he be like with more service ? Plus he always gives 100%. A good signing for me.
-
But why did you think that in the first place as wouldn’t sacking him have achieved very little and in six months time someone else would be out too and we would be going nowhere?

I posted my reasons for that opinion on why we should sack in the Valerien Ismael thread(got 28 likes for that opinion) and he has proved me wrong which I am delighted and 14 points from the last 6 games. start with a clean sheet next season, lets he can start the same way we finish the season -
very impressive from him. Good movement, some good goals and more than impact in his first game

I think he got a bad injury a while ago. He’s hardly featured since. -
So why did you want our manager sacked after a month then?
