  1. Past hour
  2. it can only be the management don`r rate him,it was pretty clear when montgomery had lots of minutes pre season and duru had not many, montgomery is`nt even a right back either๐Ÿค’
  3. Who would ever want to buy Bolton Wanderers Blackburn Rovers? Would anyone else except Bolton's owners Venkys want to put ยฃ18m a year into Bolton Wanderers Blackburn Rovers? I think this is the thing which annoys me most now when I hear it from other Rovers fans. That we should be somehow grateful and accepting of our current owners and that we couldn't do any better without "doing a Bury/Morecambe".
  4. This is one of those rare occasions when you can both claim victory simultaneously ๐Ÿ˜‰ If we were paying the sort of wages that Chaddy suggests there, then we would not have an inability to offer competitive contracts
  5. Raya - Future top 4 premier league goalie Lenihan - Young albeit injury prone promising centre half Mulgrew - Set piece specialist and leader Conway - Top tier championship winger Graham - Proven centre forward at championship level Only one we have that is remotely similar now is Carter for Lenihan. Scary how much better that group of players looks compared to what we have now.
  6. I don't know why you're all humouring Chaddy by responding to his snide "you have all the answers" remarks when anyone who can read and doesn't live under a stone knows we pay well below the going rate for absolutely everything at our club, players, coaches and the rest. Even if you give him the facts and figures he will bury his head in the sand, the club can do no wrong in his eyes. He probably hasn't read the latest forum minutes yet.
  7. Heaving in brig with brummie fans, they will have more than us on today
  8. Yep, the 16/17 team under any remotely decent manager would have stayed up. Even being saddled with Coyle until Feb we still only went down on GD and what I think was a record number of points for relegation? Close to, if not.
  9. I couldnt say the exact amount that we would need to pay. I just know that our inability to offer competitive contracts is decimating our squad of quality and sooner or later that leads to one thing and it isnt good.
  10. Strange that they have decided to use a central midfielder in Montgomery at rb in favour of Duru any idea why? Won't have seen as much of either player as you have but from what I have seen of Duru iv liked
  11. Doesn't their season finish in mid-October? What then? Returns to play in Under-21's or sell him to the American club. For me, if they want to loan him, why not look for a League One club?
  12. Hopefully he is.
  13. Nope, although I suppose its possible he may be with U21s on Monday? Especially if rumours are true that Mafoumbi has now been released
  14. Harvey Higgins isn't involved.
  15. U18s play Newcastle today at 12:30. Eze starts, Joseph on the bench score/update
  16. Quite a few 'consultants' who nobody ever sees or could put a face to a name i'd imagine. Alongside a few former employees still !
  17. All those would get into todayโ€™s team, no problem.
  18. Keeping Coyle till February is what did us, it wasnโ€™t *that* bad a side, TM showed that. This time, it is looking like an increasingly poor team as more and more of the experienced pros feck offโ€ฆ and the VI factor (who Iโ€™m dubious of to say the least).
  19. I think that's genuinely our best option at the moment. Keep it tight at the back with 5 but with legs out wide that can hopefully push us up the pitch quickly on the break. Absolutely pointless playing attacking wingers when we don't have any. Two up front to give the CBs something to think about for a change. Middle of the pitch (Tronstad, Tavares, Cantwell) looks like our strongest area - at least on paper - so set the team up around them and hope we can play it about a bit.
  20. Would beg to differ! I don't think 'Burnley Bob' does owt for nowt!!!
  21. Like the team in 2016/17 season, and that one looks better than the one we currently have. We had the likes of Raya, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Conway and Graham back then.
  22. Indeed - would also love to see who else is on the payroll!!!
  23. Doubt Coar gets anything other than free hospitality and may be expenses he's nothing more than a 'guest' director isn't he ? Kept on in an invited capacity because of his FA links but no more than someone who is there to give an opinion on something if asked. Only time hes ever opened his mouth is to defend the regime and dig at fans.
  24. I was looking for a game to go to next Tuesday and saw Southport are playing Macclesfield so decided to get a ticket. Out of curiosity I had a quick look at the Southport squad and saw a number of ex Rovers. Their manager is Neil Danns and amongst their squad they have Dan Pike, Jordan Slew and Paul Murphy-Worrell.
  25. Absolute Gravy Train...no one will bite the Hand that feeds so generously.
  26. it says "loan" However, if it is a loan with a view to a permient, , then it seems a bad deal
