  1. Past hour
  2. This excuse of blaming the home crowd/atmosphere for shite displays at home has to stop and needs calling out if Ismael or any of the players allude to it in future.
  3. Good review @DE. Think that echoes my thoughts of not being too concerned desspite todays loss. As younsay Oxford and Portsmouth haven't really kicked on and though I rate Rowett, having the lowest budget in the league is making it tough. Neither team look comfortable yet in this division. Sheff Utd have a lot of quality so you feel they'll get out of it sooner or later. But the rest I feel are well in the "race". Don't think Swansea or Norwich have done well in the manager stakes and feel that could really haunt them. West Brom seem to be sneaking the way down the table. Tonight's last minute draw will be a huge blow to them. Think they'll get out of trouble too especially if they appoint a seasoned hand. But its a nice mix of teams down there keeping us somehow looking comfortable of staying up.
  4. Ismael’s record at Ewood P15 W3 D3 L9 Thats why the crowds are even shitter than usual. Doubt i’m bothering for the next two Tuesdays after that.
  5. None of us there to blame. I'd love to know what figure they'll pluck out the air for tonight's attendance. We know the stadium has 31,000 seats. It was barely a quarter full, they'll still announce it as 13000 or something mental.
  6. Perhaps we are a one-man team.........Tronny
  7. Let's be honest everybody in a position of seniority at Ewood maintains a view that the fans are the bad guys. The "fans support away from home is amazing" is a dig. The football witnessed at Ewood under this manager has been shambolic and screams of a victim mentality amongst the squad that playing at home is some fearsome tasks. It is absolute crap.
  8. Inexplicable isn't it,5k Rovers fans at Preston showed how much they cared...then they put a display on like that as a thanks.Confidence should have been high tonight but they looked lime it was all too much effort. One step forward, two steps back Fookin beggars belief!
  9. I thought QPR played far better than PNE did last Friday.
  10. Has Ismael blamed the fans yet? They’ve been planting that seed all week.
  11. We signed 5 (five) central midfielders this summer and there’s a chance he’s the best of the bunch.
  12. As this season goes that was the most disappointing performance. In fact we were really bad, wrong footed, no ambition and no ideas. Some of those young lads our there tonight need a bollocking.
  13. I don’t know. Forshaw has nearly 100 premier league appearances to his name. Don’t think many other of this cobbled together rag tag bunch have enough quality to do that in their careers.
  14. After Rovers wearing me down to apathy this season, watching the Preston game revived my interest somewhat. My biggest question is how on earth are those two performances from the same team? We battered a team in the playoffs yet laboured against a struggling team. Against Preston we played some fantastic football and looked fairly threatening. Today... Looking back across the two games as well as being gloriously (horrifically) inconsistent. On reflection though there are probably a few consistencies within our inconsistency. 1) We aren't ruthless enough. Against Preston we should have won by more. When on top we should get more goals, when we are struggling we create little and don't have any "something out of nothing"/take the one chance we have. In wins and losses it feels like we lack a clinical edge. 2) As everyone knows and has said the squad quality is poor. Too many who aren't cut out for this level making us overly reliant on our best 11 to always be fit and performing at their best. We can't afford to have so many passengers in the squad and the substitutions significantly lower the quality of the team. 3) We don't seem to defend crosses too well. Preston in their sole 20 min spell had a free header their CB should have got on target. Today was a shambles. Definitely something to work on. Not sure #2 is redeemable with Venkys and mid-season. But 1 and 3 surely can be worked on.
  15. That team that finished the game was an absolute embarassment. Only Alebiosu would get in any other Championship side. Many others would struggle to get into a League 1 side.
  16. The effort wasn't there from De Neve. He was an utter embarrassment.
  17. He wouldn’t last 2 minutes playing with this current crop without landing one on someone.
  18. Defeat to mediocre opposition at home is really poor. Should be holding out for a draw. The quality on display for both sides was appalling. Surely we have one of the poorest squads in the league and now with a few injuries it’s literally threadbare. A remarkable achievement for our billionaire owners given our 7th place finish last year. Very limited options on the bench. Absolutely no creativity on the pitch with an ageing Forshaw on set pieces. We didn’t look like scoring all night. We have so many matches back to back in the next 4 weeks and it doesn’t seem that any injuries are close to a return. The effort is always there and we just have to hope that it’s enough to get us enough points to scrape by.
  19. What’s happened to Axel? Has he been sidelined after his interview?
  20. I'd take Todd off Corrie. And he plays for the other side...if you know what I mean
  21. Miller's jet lag clicked in. Ohashi and Morishita are too lightweight for the referees in this league. The ref was poor again; Gueye had every right to complain after he was penalised having been fouled by two of their players. But Rovers didn't deserve anything from the game. QPR were far better overall.
  22. QPR well worth their win. We didn't even get started, beaten all over the pitch. Chair, Saito and Dembele, the two squads that played tonight looked a league apart. The debacle at CB is there for all to see. Not sure this on Ismael, but he needs to figure out something quick. First half worst half of the season so far, couldnt get the ball.
