  1. Past hour
  2. Cant see a vast amount of resale value there either πŸ˜‰
  3. Wrexham apparently paying 7.5 mill for Nathan Broadhead 🀣🀣🀣
  4. Derby have signed Rhian Brewster. He cost Sheff Utd like Β£25m a few years back but has a really poor goal scoring record overall.
  5. We have "goodbyes" too- Dolan, Weimann, Batth, Brittain.... to be continued.
  6. Yea can understand his angle aiming for energy and pace. We shall see what game one brings
  7. And we could bring Tyjon through only for him to fuck off for well under value at the end of the season. Until he signs that contract I have absolutely zero interest in potentially sacrificing our season to develop him.
  8. Exactly, as I've said many times, we never build on anything That's gone before. We rip it all up and start again, each time going lower.
  9. I didnt know Harvey Knibbs was an attacking midfielder (more a CF) ..Seems like his move to Charlton maybe in doubt, wonder if he's worth a punt.
  10. 1. Winners of the Championship Ipswich 2. Automatic promotion (runners-up) in the Championship Sheffield United 3. Four Play off semi-finalists in the Championship Southampton, Swansea, West Brom and Middlesbrough 4. Three relegated sides from the Championship Charlton, Sheffield Wednesday and Hull 5. Where will Rovers finish in the Championship? 12th 6. First Championship club to change manager (after the season starts) Sheffield Wednesday 7. Winners of the Premier League Chelsea 8. A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) Pasha and Gestede have a squabble and settle it with pistols at dawn at Ewood. Sadly only one will win πŸ˜‚
  11. Jinx ☝️ But you’re right on Duckett, his arrogance got the better of him and he gave his wicket away after 3 or 4 scoop shots on the trot, stupid. But they’ve put us in a good position after 13 overs, England are 92!!
  12. Fair enough, I was oblivious to this. Although I'm not sure the u21s could be expected to provide one. It's a bit hard to say it's a senior league when it's not even senior football.
  13. That would leave us massively short so I really hope not.
  14. Although not cast in stone it is usually done when the visiting team are from a senior league. And that is usually reciprocated by the visitors. There are some pennants I believe on display at Ewood from friendlies past.
  15. They think Ohashi, Gueye, Tyjon and Leonard are sufficient for one position? Questions on their quality but sign a striker and it sends the message to Tyjon that a pathway to the first team isn't as close as they may have suggested to him
  16. I was really hoping today's thread would be a battle over whether or not someone got the exciting scoop on a preseason friendly the other week.
  17. Is this a thing? Exchanging pennants at kickoff in friendlies?
  18. Tremendous spell from Atkinson this morning which atoned for England's dreadful bowling yesterday Duckett and Crawley in full kamikaze Bazball mode at present going along at 8 an over Have India given up? It looks like it
  19. Today
  20. Not sure it was a figment of his/her imagination
  21. From LT article today. Surely another striker is now priority over another CB ? Rovers still want to sign a right-winger, attacking midfielder and secure further cover at centre-back. Miller’s fee is thought to be around the Β£1million mark all-in and so, hopefully, the trade with Brittain gives additional funds for Rudy Gestede to source further reinforcements across the squad
  22. From what I've seen so far in the transfer window, I'm hardly blown away by any Championship club and their signings. A lot of clubs have lost players too, so maybe we won't truly see who the real standout teams are for a good number of weeks. I live in Southampton and watched a few of their matches. They look so disjointed at the moment and the fans are quite worried - especially after the disaster of last year. I'm sure I've read the same about other teams too. I think this season could be about assembling a squad that’s cohesive, tactically aligned, and has a clear understanding of what they need to do to win games. When every player knows their role and the team operates as a unified unit, that’s when performances become consistent, momentum builds, confidence grows and results follow. Based on what I've seen so far in pre-season, we tick a few of those boxes. It's just a question of whether we're strong enough as a team, in terms of depth and quality, to maintain consistency. We definitely need a few more players who can improve the team, but I'm pleased with the signings so far. If we do well, then perhaps key players will believe in this new project and sign extensions. It's also pleasing to see some players from last year grow in confidence. I expect good things from Yuki, Cantwell, and I wouldn't be surprised to see an improved Gueye now he's settled in England, has some French speaking players in the squad. He will grow and could become a surprise to us all. As to who we should sign, I still go with what Mark Hughes once said. You should sign players to improve the first XI. Let's hope V.I and Rudy can do that....and check the fax machine still works!
  23. Lewis Miller is a RB / CB cover, 2 for 1. Itll be Baradji and a winger and then we’ll be done. Is my bet.
  24. What a terrible lack of vision from Wrexham! How on earth are they expecting to develop him and then sell him on to someone higher up the food chain for a profit whilst furiously doggy paddling to keep their heads above water in the lower reaches of the division
