v Coventry City (a) - 18/10/25 - 15:00 KO

Lampard has done a super job with them. Quick and incisive football and look like they are scoring goals for fun. The international break might stall their momentum a tad but this could be anything from 2 to 7 nil. A hammering here might just finish us given fixtures to come before the end of November. -
Even though Ipswich didn't play especially well, it was obvious their players were a class above Norwich's. Much smarter passing and movement. Another superb goal from Philogene as well. At some point defenders will presumably be advised to close him down rather than stand off and let him pick his spot. The lad is clearly deadly from outside the box if he's given time.

Oxford aren't that bad. Beat us easily at their place last seasln. Have a manager who's good at scrapping results. Their bench looks better quality than Rovers. Sheff Utd will definitely climb the table with lots of attacking ability such as Hamer and Ohare plus Cannon. Looks like Sheff Wed 24th and Rovers 23rd come next May.

at west brom henrikson was miles of the pace of the game, don`t think val trusts him to start i agree with you on gudjohnson,if you can`t control a football or be aware of your position then you have big problems at any level of the game less said about sidnei the better,he`s shown nothing to me that suggests he could have an impact, did have a decent half against bradford but since then he`s looked out of place in the championship, last week he was abysmal and was embarrasing to watch -

that's why I said it was good point, yet you come out with rubbish like celebrating cos we got a point. We stop the losses and got something to build on which my point was. people are probably reluctant cos people like yo0(over my view on Ismael last season) and others used it stick to beat other posters views when they change. Maybe think about your own actions first. -

Full backs get a lot of stick these days regarding “ positioning “. I think they play too close to the centre halves but that is obviously where they’ve been told to play. -
150th Anniversary kit/celebrations
Mike E replied to Proudtobeblue&white's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I had suggested so many ideas around Bilbao while in RT, I’m quite genuinely amazed they haven’t tried SOMETHING along those lines. I had suggested all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas to try and spark some imagination, like a ‘joint kit’ with Bilbao for a season (even if it was only 3rd kit) or even asking if the towns could be twinned. Something! And these were suggested in 2019. - Today

Individual errors have really done Norwich in today. Carelessly losing or giving the ball away is the story of the game for me.

In quite a lot of the games three out of the back four are new. We have conceded some sloppy goals primarily down to individual errors. -
We’ve been working hard in the background setting up this new channel for a while & we are delighted to announce that it is now live with two products initially, though many more will follow. If anyone has any specific ideas or requests for a tee shirts (within the bounds of being legal, decent, ethical etc…!) then feel free to drop a mail to media@brfcs.com & we’ll see what we can do…😉 The costs of running this site like many other things right now, seem to be growing month on month & so it’s vital that we look for new ways to generate income to cover our costs. Everyone who buys something in this store is helping us massively to keep the lights on & to come up with imaginative new features to develop & enhance the site. The SHOP is open - come & have a look around…👀⚪️🔵

Obviously I cant start rhyming off minutes in games where his positioning was off. And I dont think its a glaring weakness in his game and thats not what I am saying. Its more pointing out a positive that he has that recovery pace whereby his positioning doesnt have to always be perfect. Kyle Walker made a career out of it. I definitely dont think as a team that we are defensively as strong as last season. Thats to be expected considering who we have lost and an inability to fully replace. -

watching the ipswich vs norwich game, norwich ,despite their personel are absolutely dire,as a manager, how do you devise a team shape thats gets so little out of a top class centre forward (sarjeant).norwich fans must be furious -
Owen Coyle won away at Newcastle. Steve Kean won away at Old Trafford. Plymouth beat us when we were in the top 6 last year. Relegated sides aren't poor all season. They have good results, just less of them.

The international break might have just landed at the perfect time for us, to disrupt Coventry's current form. That's clutching at straws though really, if we are being honest. I think we're taking a humping here, 4-0 minimum. -

I have a weird feeling that Rovers might just do that; come away with all 3 points whilst deserving none. Then lose at home to Sheff Utd. -

arbitro replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Both of his tackles were from our corners when the centre halves were forward. Stoke got the first contact from the corner and countered. We weren't really pulled apart in a conventional footballing sense. Give me some examples of his positioning sometimes not being great. Having seen every game he has played I can't remember one occasion when he has been caught out through poor positioning. -
I dont think a lack of confidence justifies or explains a lack of effort in any way.
