  1. Past hour
  2. The truth is they've all been poor managers and it's hard to say which has been worst, though Ismael could yet prove us wrong. Watched Rovers get tonked 4-0 at West Ham under Iley and we were awful, one of the worst performances I've seen from a Rovers team. He also gets my vote
  3. He was bad, believe me. A disaster from day one. He got my vote without me having to think about it. Replacing Dave Wagstaffe with an over the hill John Aston - unbelievable!
  4. I can’t imagine how bad Iley must have been to take a vote ahead of Ince.
  5. The timing of it is rather bad but no surprise. Why not in summer and market it as a one of 150 year celebration offer, limit it to 500 in each of the lower tier areas first come first served. Create a bit of supply/demand trickery in the hope they are snapped up quickly. Most who buy full ST's would still buy them i doubt it would've impacted that too much and we'd probably be about a thousand people better off per game. As it is they'll be lucky to shift a 100 then they'll scrap it next season and say pointless. Only club in England that expects to increase ticket sales for a relegation battle.
  6. 50 mile an hour winds forecast should finish any chance of the game going ahead
  7. Stoke isn't too far away so i assume they'll leave any decision and panic until about 10 AM tomorrow. Anyway in his latest cost cutting exercise Pasha hired a wet suit and a bar and sent a member of the catering staff crawling up the drain with the sharp pole to poke away at any potential blockage up there. Lanes for Drains wanted £600 but hes done it for 50 quid.
  8. Loftus-Cheek and Henderson in but Wharton not lol. I give up with Tuchel’s selections
  9. Sergio Peter, David Yelldell, Sebastien Pelzer and Javi de Pedro, just to confuse everybody, Rovers fans included.
  10. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/october/03/save-over--150-with-a-new-flexi-season-ticket-/ Flexi season ticket announced. Pay £150 upfront, and then £10 per game that you want to attend. I'm sure these will fly off the shelves.
  11. Today
  12. I can guarantee all this would result in is an AI generated press release stating their long-term commitment to the club.
  13. Yeah, that's the more likely scenario, I agree. Someone got a photo of the outfall from the stadium before kick off against Ipswich, i'm sure. Be interesting to see what it's like now, compare the 2
  14. The only reason some people thought Adam was casual or wasteful was because he was streets ahead in terms of knowing where the ball should go and players should be compared to his teammates. I sometimes wonder if some scouts wouldn't commit to him because they didn't recognise that.
  15. I can only think Palace have asked for him not to be selected for these friendlies.
  16. Funnily enough, detailed plans of a Mount Rushmore style sculpture were suggested and shared with the club as part of the 150th anniversary plans but ultimately didn't go anywhere. Based on the historical angle and focusing on the birth of the club (and our subsequent impact on the sport), 'Founding Fathers' was suggested as a working title, as was the inclusion of John Lewis, Arthur Constantine, Bob Crompton and Fergus Suter. I can't comment as to whether this plan will still come to fruition, but I very much doubt it.
  17. Fortunately, most people can see through this now.
  18. I wonder if this is the right moment for the Coalition to issue an open letter calling on the Venkys to finally back the club, now that financial restrictions have been lifted. With no excuses left, we expect visible commitment: come to Ewood, invest significantly in January, and give the team the financial (and leadership) support it needs to avoid relegation. Realistically, we know this won't happen but if the response is silence, that in itself will speak volumes and confirm their lack of genuine interest in the club.
  19. Exactly Tyrone. He can split a defence with one touch from deep midfield. Not many can do that.
  20. The football agents certainly love Venky’s (especially those formerly of SEM). Shameful.
  21. I first saw him at 17 and he had the 'wow' factor. He was one move ahead of the other players and more often than not knew where his next pass was going before he got the ball. His head swivels constantly. I'm proud of his Rovers connection but disgusted at the way he was sacrificed because of the owners misdemenours. And add the insulting remarks by Pasha which compounded another sorry tale in the history of the last decade and a half.
  22. It was the quality of his passing that stood out for me. A lot of one touch stuff that meant he was very rarely caught in possession. Always where the player receiving the ball wanted it. Always with just the right amount of pace on the ball. He was Tugayesque and still a teenager. As you say even the dogs in the street could see he was special talent. Anybody who thought Lowe was a footballer disqualified themselves from making a comment on Wharton. The first time I saw him play I was genuinely shocked. What did he bring to the game ? He could run a bit, tackle a bit, pass it 10 yards to a team mate, head it bit. Was he a game changer like Wharton is ? Never in a million years.
  23. Unless Eustace Johnson & Lowe are in charge.
  24. Some people could see just how talented he was and how special he was. Some people could see just how he stood out from even the best youngsters we’ve had over 60+ years. Some people thought he was a very good player.
  25. We could be 10 points clear at the top and we would still lose at home to Stoke.
  26. Imagine the scenes if multiple games can't take place at Ewood this season. I'm done being embarrassed by this club so I'm all for it. Bring on the rain.
  27. He is Morishita than Scott Sellars and most other players of that era.
