Just got a copy from tesco and was suprised at how many were on the shelf. Can anyone tell me a decent radio station cause i cant find the one which has guns n roses, stone roses etc........ All im hearing is that someones "gonna pop a cap in my mutha 4kin my ass!" Anyways im going into hibernation for a while.

Radio X Thats the good 'un with Stone Roses etc Funny DJ on there too (Haven't heard Axl Rose yet though!).

Went to a bar and played pool, thats a nice feature Don't think I could order a drink though, was enjoying getting drunk in "Fable"

Really impressed with the changes that they have made to this one.

A lot more realistic in the 'gangster world' with their general behaviour that you can watch whilst they discuss before you go out with your 'homies' in the car.

Just beaten up the local crack dealer, well worth the money so far.

how are people meant to be gettin some decent quality gear when your knocking ten bells out the main man?

Impressed so far. How do you get your respect up though? Is it just by completing missions?

Good feature is how you can go to the gym and it affects the look of your body.

1 thing for sure is that I can see this game taking a hell of a lot of time to complete.

Im stuck on one like that. Its the lowdown thing, where you have to press the right analogue stick on the direction it says when it passes the circle

Its the most stupid mission and very hard to do when your joypad analogue thingy is fcuked.

Pah ! Neither mission (the low-riders with the stick or the beach party with the buttons) are that hard. If someone like me with no rythem or co-ordination can pass them anyone can.

I'be heard it helps if you turn the sound down. Didn;t have a problem myself, I find the chase missions quite difficult sometimes though, especially on the motorbikes.

Anyone remember the race mission (started outside the nightclub) from Vice City? That was the the hardest mission ever in a game IMHO. It took me about 30 attempts to finally get it right. How does this dancing mission stack up to that?

On the race missions, I used to park about three cars up in front of the other cars then I would drive into the red sqaure to start the race and the other cars would just crash into the other cars and I would get a head start.

With regard to San Andreas, I had my first play last night which lasted all of 20 mins (stupid Mrs). Anyway, It seems pretty good so far exept I'm not all that sure about the new health system and I dont know if it was just my T.V. but eveything looks pretty dark - even when sunny. Part of my 20 mins was wasted by quite an addictive arcade game that you find in the pub where you are a bee. Now, this game is not graphicly good nor does it seem to be something that I would want to play much but for some reason I couldnt put it down. Yeah I know, a brand new GTA game and I'm sat there playing the role of a bee - Very very sad

The beach party mission is easy as is the 1st dancing competition you have in the club. The 2nd dance comp in the club though is alot harder.

The health deature is much better.

The only thing that doesnt seem to be moving much is the respect. Its gone up but not by much.

Do you lose respect if you kill innocent people?

The gambling feature is also quite good if your willing to risk money to make big money quicker.

Compared to the racing mission on vice city, the dancing is easy.

The new races are hard but so far iv managed to win all my only race iv done

If you fancy a bit of fun off the missions here is a couple of things I have found:

Go down to commerce in Los Santon and find the tallest building (it's the circular one) and find the yellow triangle thing to enter the building! Go up the steps onto the roof and you will see a helipad - Look around and you will find a backpack. Its a parachute to do some basejumping or if you just fancy jumping out of plane wicked!!

Tried to get into the pilots entrance to the airport but no luck? Use a car to jump onto the roof then jump over the wall, then jump over the next fence and your on the runway and nick a cessna style plane - If you fly out of los santos expect to be shot down by a harrier jump jet though but you do have time to see some of the casinos such as the Excalibur and Luxor!!

Were are the casinos? Are they on one of the other islands?

Yeah they are north of Los Santos in a bit you cannot access unless you have done enough missions. Just keep flying north out of Los Santos and soon as you get four stars you know your close!

I tried to land but crashed into a bridge and I blew up, but if your good enough you might be able to make it into a casino before being busted!!

I have done all of Sweets and Ryders missions and a couple of OG's missions - On the Madd Dogg Ryme Book mission and I have done a couple of Big Smokes missions as well.

Yet to do anymore of the lowrider missions since the first one can't be arsed at the moment to do those!!

How far have you got?

All sweets, all ryders, about 5 of big smokes and 1 of og.

Did the 1st low rider mission. Then after that i did 1 of the missions of the guy who is seeing the sister.

Going to have a good go at it tonight though.

Not even close, the dancing is easier than "Guardian Angels" (with first mission with Lance) which was the first non-trivial mission in GTA:VC.

I seem to be around the same point as Hughsey, although I've done a few more OG "Jeffrey" LOC missions.

The two best missions so far have been the "Russian" ones.

Done OJ's and BS got me a girl friend and taken over the first bit of the gang war - starting on the cop missions now.

For quick cash do the ambulance missions

I'm at pretty much the same point, but Pimping is easy/better money than the ambulance.

The beach party is harder than it looks, you have to be really quick and in time with it.

I've just completed the bit in that warehouse with the guns deal with the Russians and followed, killed the man.

Then at the house party where rival gangs came attacking my gang, defeated them

Do you mean the one which started outside the Malibu Nightclub and you faced Ken i think his name was 1 on 1. Was very hard Kept crashing. Was very pleased when i finally did it. On San Andreas i think im a little further than a few im into the 2nd city the one in the middle on the left. Class game!
