No, daheri, an interview will not affect that, but the tiredness of some of the players might.

1-0 Rovers, Jemal Johnson with a late winner after coming on as a sub and being heralded as the next savior. He then goes on a run of several months without a goal, because he isn't playing much, and people start to say he's the worst striker we've ever had.

No, no, no. That's quite obviously Alan Shearer. He hasn't scored for us for years... huh.gif

6 points off the relegation zone.So much to breath for now!!!What a vital win!!!

Great X-Mas period we picked up 2 wins, one draw and a last minute defeat.Great improvement in this side. The spirit!

Now if we could kill off the games sooner rather than sweatin for the 1-0's it would be a relief!!!

Palace won 2-0,otherwise it wouldve been even a better night!

great result, and a good team performance overall. more importantly, another clean sheet! apart from 1 good save, friedal did not have much to do. everybody did well, from stead to thommo to todd, who was magnificent again. overall, very good result, especially coupled with norwich losing. slowly building a gap now between us and the bottom 3, so may we continue moving upwards! tinykit.gif

Goal was very well worked, clever run by Ferguson, well held up and Thompsons first time cross was superb. Straight forward finish for Emerton and he took it well.

Very pleasing result, brilliant Christmas for the Rovers. We must take this on from here, roll on Pompey.
