Could you give us a hint as to how high a level he played at? Is he a full international...?

If he is on this list, it has to be one of four.

Bridges 30, Kamara 32, Cort 31, Connelly32.

As some one else mentioned this stinks of Bridges, almost an identical situation to Davies.

I think Nicko wrote resale value ! so the player cant be 30+ the way i see it. But i hope that something happens soon.

I cannot believe people have taken Nicko's comment as a potential positive. There's no way that we'll be pleasantly surprised by the name when it eventually comes out. Think back to the ridiculous way people on here lined up Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs before getting Robbie Fowler, or guessed Luca Toni before Mr X was revealed to be Franco Di Santo. I'm willing to wager whoever it is doesn't have an international goal to his name.

And then all the suicides will begin.
