Gogger Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Just seen the goal again. What on earth did Robinson do? Poor goalkeeping
toetoe Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 I don't think i've seen a B'Ham game yet where Roger Johnson doesn't get seriously injured, but miracously gets back on the pitch almost immediately. Can't help it, but i think there's a bit of acting going on there...
martmitch Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Rocky off Kally on, oh wait he's not even on the bench as he doesn't kiss keans a**

moerpho Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 stunning that we actually have a player out there that is trying. I would say we have 2....our young lads: Hoilett & Olsson. Still 45mins to go! Here's hoping for: - Chelsea going on a scoring-spreee against Wigan - Bolton scoring 2 more against Wet Spam - Newcastle beating Villa & Arsenal demolishing Blackpool tomorrow ...ohh....and Rovers to score a WINNING goal in the 2nd half...probably should get Charlie Sheen to manage the club...at least he knows a thing or two about winning!
MarkBRFC71 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Poor performance by us till now, but thank you Junior Hoilett for that brilliant piece of skill. Referee has been shocking. Draw fair going into half time. We need to put them under pressure and our strikers need to play closer to their goal. MGP and Dunn the worst two out there for us. Agree entirely. Dunn looks overweight, unfit and like his legs have gone, Peds has been lazy, uncommitted and powderpuff. Hoilett and Olsson been our best players. Roberts and Santa Cruz - our least goal threatening strike partnership since Ashley Ward and Nathan Blake?
ben_the_beast Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Well that was blumin lucky coming in at half time level. Really need to pick up the tempo. As has been said Dunn and Peds are passengers right now. Thank god for Junior. Awful from Birmingham but a class class finish. Sounded like booing with the players going in at half time. They need to come out fighting like we are 0-1 down
Stavros_BRFC Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Can we even keep Junior at the Club on this summer? the only quality player we got alongside (both) jones and olsson
Backroom DE. Posted April 9, 2011 Backroom Posted April 9, 2011 MGP and Dunn the worst two out there for us. In MGP's defence, according to his blog he only started light training four days ago after his illness. I'm assuming he's not fully prepared, which makes selecting him a strange decision. As for Dunny, been finished at Premier League level for a while. But he's a part of the committee...
Guest roverspogges Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Charlie sheen is soooo last month, and kean should have been aswell.
Rover Down Under Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Commentators are describing Hoilett's goal as a gift / mistake from Brum, codswollop. He was yards from that pass, made up the ground leaving a trail of fire in his wake, won the ball, ran 20 yards, took it round the keeper then slotted home past a retreating Brum defender. Simply brilliant.
BRFC1995 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Can we even keep Junior at the Club on this summer? the only quality player we got alongside (both) jones and olsson can see all 3 gone even if we stayed up, all more than good enough to interest the really big teams.
Bobby G Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Pdersen's passing has been stray, and that has nothing to do with fitness.
Steve Moss Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 RSC, MGP and Dunn are the worse of our squad presently on the pitch. The 2 Jones, Hoillett and Olsen are reasons to smile. Its depressing to see half of our squad is uncommitted to winning, especially as this appearance comes from our "untouchable" senior players. We need a massive turnaround in energy and commitment this next half.

Backroom DE. Posted April 9, 2011 Backroom Posted April 9, 2011 Pdersen's passing has been stray, and that has nothing to do with fitness. Lack of match/training practice would make his passing somewhat rusty, regardless of fitness. On the other hand, his passing has never been great.
toetoe Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 It seems that people are mistaking speed and technique with commitment.
yellowsubmarine Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 dear jermaine jones, please learn not to tackle so near outside the box! ffs!
Roverdale Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 West Brom equalised.. results aren't looking too bad for Rovers today. Might not be getting any luck in our games but seems the other bottom teams are having a tough time too. ITS NOT OVER
moerpho Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 At least Roberts been useful since he came on....both he and Roque are looking like a million dollars....no...a trillion dollars....make that: a gazillion dollars! Or maybe not...has he even had a (half)decent touch? Edit: Croqye off the crossbar! DOH!
