And Grant's record and experience dwarfs Keans.

As does Dave Jones record.

ye but still. How long have the fans waited for him to get binned? it would be a huuge disappointment to get grant. all last season i asked my friend, a west ham supporter "why arent you sacking Grant? Is the board/owner stupid? You will get relegated."

at that point i did not know how much those comment would backfire on me <_<

If we get grant it will be almost as continuing with kean. With Grant there is no hope. we will for sure play in the championship next year, mark my words

I'll take Souness till the end of the season.

I always liked him, and he is a complete nutter! He has an afinity with the club and i believe he'd jump at the chance.

I know anout this one, a couple of weeks ago a group of fans met up at the Havelock and went down to the training ground when getting there, they demanded to see Kean and continued to protest outside the Police came and some people from in the training ground came out and spoke with them and said they could not meet with Kean, and the Police moved them on,

No planned meeting and Kean saying no, just some supporters turning up on spec, demanding to see him

There has to come a point for venkys relationship with kean, surely we've reached that point now, if we dont beat bolton and he stays i'd be very surprised. Whoever we bring in they cannot possibly be worse than kean, we have to look forward to that... we're also not stupidly cut adrift, yet!

Sadly, it's true, though.

Apart from his PR buddies, no one else supports him but our beloved owners. Oh, and maybe Mrs. Kean.

Interestingly enough, my husband asked me if i were Kean's wife, would I still want him in the job with everyone knowing that at least 20,000 people hate you? I would have made sure my husband resigned weeks ago if i were her. life can't be much fun, even with all the money to spend.

We have to win on Tuesday for Kean to have the same record that Ince had when he got the sack. That's how bad he is.

The next game is completely irrelevant, he must go NOW.

I'd love to see Souness in until the end of the season with a suitable bonus for keeping us up. That way we aren't tied into an expensive contract in the championship but still give ourselves a shot at avoiding relegation. That would be the most sensible decision venkys have made.

Interesting point. Mind you, as we've seen a few times he could spin anything!

The managers who should be on a shortlist to replace the idiot:-

Hughes

Curbishley

Solskjaer

Sven

Smith

Souness (short term till the end of season, maybe Tugay back as his number 2)

I can't see Ancelotti or Benitez being interest in the rovers with these owners and the lack of money to spend.

Maybe others to consider would be Keegan, Hoddle.

Don't think Jones or Grant would be any better than Kean TBH but in football you never know. ;):rolleyes:

he should have gone months ago but unless someone pulls a Harry Potter trick with Malfoy and Dobbie and slips his P45 into his hands when he's not looking then we've no chnace of getting rid, because as has been said - who is there at Ewood to do the sacking?

Souness has a soft spot for the club and we enjoyed some great moments under his tenure.

PLEASE sack Kean and unite the fans for the second half of the season..its our only hope now.

I can't keep this up.. I'm checking the net and SSN every 5 mins to see if he has been sacked.

Me too, every day. What disturbs me most is he doesn't even have the integrity to resign.

Would love either, highly doubt either would come? I dont think the venky's are gonna employ a souness/hughes type guy. Kean is literally manager and about 5 other positions and neither of them would be willing IMO. Whoever we get has got to be infinately better than peanut kean
