winstonsmith Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Go on i'll bite, despite being born and brought up within 10 miles of Ewood for all my life. What's Willington? A non-league club in the North East where Rovers once played in the FA Cup.
PAFELL Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 A new chant, WE WON A MATCH, WE WON MATCH, HOW ###### MUST GEORDIES BE, WE WON A MATCH I'll get my coat.
allanncd Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I'm sick of the deluded idiots that inhabit this MB. They want their team to LOSE in an attempt to remove a manager who clearly has the FULL support of the players. This is complete madness!!!Kean's team have just beaten a Newcastle team flying without a defeat this season and on Sunday were widely acknowledged as unlucky not to get something from another leading team. The national critics are correct that the fans are like a little kid throwing the toys out its pram because they're not getting what they want. In any case these misguided idiots should be careful for what they wish for. I expect these self-same people expect Hughes or O'Neill to take the vacancy. No chance and it's time to wake up and smell the coffee. VNKYS IF YOU ARE LISTENING -STICK WITH KEAN!!
Amo Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Why does it always take 3-4 goals to win a match under Kean?
roverwhelmed Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 was at the game, left 3 mins before the end of normal time, gutted!!! typical kean to make sure i dont get my money's worth. I bet you'll never do that again
pick32 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 they should ask Kean why we need to score 4 to win a match.
roverandout Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 the win will be overshadowd by that fact that newcastle were the better team for large parts, kept the ball better, had some really good chances, should have had two penalties, our best player was between rochina, hoillet and ollson, petrovic is like a statue most of the time, just stands there in no-man's land. roth, i do it every game, should know better by now with numpty in charge!!
DeadlyDirk Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Kean on Rovers Player now doing an interview - I'lll summarise Disappointed with not getting the clean sheet... People will ask are the team together, this proves they are.... Good win over a side unbeaten in 14 games..... Shows terrific morale and team spirit in the camp..... Newcastle had their strongest team out..... Result added to the performance of Tottenham game, good momentum..... Always knew we would score goals.... Streteching towards a cleansheet, 55 minutes at Man City and now 89 minutes at Newcastle.... Givet deserved man of the match and played on despite feeling his hamstring around half time, refused to come off apparantley..... Some games under our belt with decent performances and good results.... Some people have stamped their claim to play regularly in the league... Norwich will be a tough game, medical and sports science staff need to get the team ready for it, players will be knackered and due a recovery day or two...

DeadlyDirk Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Did we really only have 30 possession as bbc reports? Stats on Rovers Player says the same so I imagine it's pretty accurate, although we did have 11 shots on target to their 4. (7 off for us, 8 off for them)
m0r94n Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Well the media seem to be of the opinion we are now safe and that the Kean doubters will quiet down. Happy days!

Rovers won tonight despite Kean, not because of Kean. He totally screwed things up near the end. I'll remind you of who is deluded when we get relegated.
roverandout Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 allanncd, you're a moron!! i see the pro-kean sicophants are out in force again when rovers win, make me flippin sick!!

That does not change the fact that we are bottom of the league. Cups are great, but it is the league which truly counts. I firmly believe we will stay in the relegation zone with Kean in charge. Where do you see our next league win coming from? And what are you prepared to do it if does not materialize? When will you have enough of our club being under this Muppet?
DeadlyDirk Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Considering those words are from Kean, does it really surprise you?

Thats fair enough and it's your opinion, I wont argue with you but I shall copy and paste this at the end of the season and then we can discuss, If we are in the top ten or even the Premiership I shall hold my hand up and say I am sorry but if we are in the Championship I expect to be having this discussion with myself. Please prove me wrong.
JohnD Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Go on i'll bite, despite being born and brought up within 10 miles of Ewood for all my life. What's Willington? In the early 70's (73?). drew up there (1-1?) then won at Ewood in a midweek afternoon match (3-0?), the 3-day week was on.
47er Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Kean on Rovers Player now doing an interview - I'lll summarise Streteching towards a cleansheet, 55 minutes at Man City and now 89 minutes at Newcastle.... OMG!!!!!!!
Stuart Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Well that match tested the patience of saints let alone fans. Unbelievable finish but when Kean had taken off both goal scorers, I was very worried who might take pens. Carlsberg don't do football matches but if they did they'd do that one. All I can say is, if they aren't laying for Kean, then there must be some serious team spirit on spite of him. The celebrations when they mobbed Givet said it all. I still can't stand the arrogant, delusional S.O.B. but if you go to football matches to be entertained and thrilled like nothing else it happened at Ewood tonight. Even if it was about like an away game from where I was sat. Oh, and I possibly hate Newcastle fans more than Kean (this evening at least). Apologies if I'm rambling - still on a bit of a high!!
DeadlyDirk Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 i too am hoping this bit aint real embarrassing again if he has said this however i have no doubt that he has done unreal Well unfortunately although I said summarise, they are all pretty much direct quotes from the interview, nice how he ignores the two games in between that we conceded after 15 mins in.
