chaddyrovers Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I just don't understand why a poster who joined 20 days ago and post's a lot during half term is suddenly considered to carry weight. It doesn't matter when a poster joined!!! Plus you don't know how old he is, so don't judge him. I'm quite happy for Rovers_786 to post whatever he has been told. How much of Nicko info ever came true???

Friarsnig Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I just don't understand why a poster who joined 20 days ago and post's a lot during half term is suddenly considered to carry weight. Of course. You must have several years and hundreds of posts on this internet messageboard before your views can be taken seriously.

I'm quite happy for Rovers_786 to post whatever he has been told. How much of Nicko info ever came true??? It totally matters when a poster joins. If someone has posted for 10 years then you would be inclined to trust what they say, that's just common sense. If he is posting in good faith then there is no problem with it what so ever.

I'm quite happy for Rovers_786 to post whatever he has been told. How much of Nicko info ever came true??? ditto - they are damned if they do, and damned if they don`t ! to be honest, he seems genuine enough to me, and is just posting info and doesn`t come across as though he is bigging up being and ITK, or on an ego trip. Good for him, seems an honest fan like the majority of us, who care for the club - that is my impression, so can`t understand why people will and do feel the need ot flame him (or her) ! roversinsideher, nicko, Kamy, Rovers_786 etc are all quiet this evening though, after a bit of a rollercoaster today

I take people on their word. Seems a decent person and is just posting when he has been told. just like anybody else.

Bluefudge Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2053007/Blackburn-Rovers-offer-Steve-Kean-new-deal.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Was just being swayed into goin on Wednesday, then read that.... And I snapped back into not goin mode!!
2PAC 4 Blackburn Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2053007/Blackburn-Rovers-offer-Steve-Kean-new-deal.html?ito=feeds-newsxml This can't be true, I know we don't have the best people in football running the club now but you don't go rewarding someone failing just because they are positive about failing.
chaddyrovers Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2053007/Blackburn-Rovers-offer-Steve-Kean-new-deal.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Surely be reading this m/b again.
Stuart Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Tensions could really boil over if Venkys are stupid enough to improve or extend his contract. Despite everything they've done wrong so far I refuse to believe it, until there's a statement from the club. To date they can get explain away their errors as naivety or learning curve. This would be willful damage aimed solely at the club's supporters. It would also be a slap in the face for the Pune9.
Balwer Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 honestly if that happens I think that might just be the straw that breaks the back for me, and I am sure there will be plenty of others in the same boat. It's getting harder and harder to get passionate about games these days...
Bluefudge Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 You couldn't write this script. I'd laugh, but I'd only end up crying.
Speedie Dived Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2053007/Blackburn-Rovers-offer-Steve-Kean-new-deal.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Well that's the same thing that Kamy and Glenn have heard this morning, would fit into the major announcement bracket.
redroses Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 look at that bloody picture of him grinning away like he's just won the euromillions without buying a ticket. What a toerag.
roverandout Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 kamy said on twitter that there are genuinely few things that could shock him with venkys..and this WOULD shock him!!!
Emge Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I will write it again; If it happens I'll boycott Blackburn Rovers Football Club completely untill Steve Kean is history! Do you hear me Venkys??!!
beerwins Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2053007/Blackburn-Rovers-offer-Steve-Kean-new-deal.html?ito=feeds-newsxml If that happens it would further my suspicions about who actually owns our club and is running it on a day to day basis because a decision like this is not made by owners with the clubs best interest at heart. The fans thought they made massive steps in terms of relationships with the owners in Pune and I cant believe the owners would make such a pathetic decision to give him a contract extension. Truly shocking stuff if true.
2PAC 4 Blackburn Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I will write it again; If it happens I'll boycott Blackburn Rovers Football Club completely untill Steve Kean is history! Do you hear me Venkys??!! Snap! It will be an empty stadium next year in the championship!
Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2011 Backroom Posted October 24, 2011 IF Venky's dare offer this man a new contract I'd advise they never step foot in Blackburn again.
martonrover Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 If this is true we are at war with Venky's.
steve42 Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 IF the mail story is true - words fail me. I had thought this afternoon that the rumours of an enhanced contract must be dodgy as surely the Venky's must keep open at least an option of sacking Kean - maybe not today, not next week but at some point. IF an enhanced contract is the deal Kean will be fireproof for a long time to come. Just can't understand the logic of closing off the option to get rid - he wasn't going to be head hunted after all.
BuckyRover Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 The fact it's in the daily mail reassures me that it isn't true. A relief
Scott18 Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I will write it again; If it happens I'll boycott Blackburn Rovers Football Club completely untill Steve Kean is history! Do you hear me Venkys??!! I understand where you come from and I would be seriously ###### off it did happen but I wouldn't stop watching rovers even with that clown in charge. Can I just ask what would happen with the protests if Kean did sign a new contract?
