SAS
I think a terrible crowd of 23,500 against Liverpool will have even shocked a few in the Ivory towers last night, surely our worst Premiership attendace versus them since the ground development? Radio Rovers made me laugh by saying it was due to the lack of Liverpool fans. Good move by the club but fans can only do so much! I thought this too so checked last years attendance. It was only 24,000.

SIMON GARNERS 194
I cant help but think there are going to be some very angry supporters and some very ugly scenes come the Wigan game.Rovers fans are generally a passive lot but I fear we have been pushed too far this season, their will be an outpouring of frustration...there is only so much a supporter can take. To the Venky's...you reap what you sow.
Bobby G
I can bet right now that there will be no angry scenes. I think that ship sailed on the date of Bolton home. That was as hostile and as angry as we will ever get.

To the Venky's...you reap what you sow. As much as I hope there is an outpouring of anger... I get a bad feeling the majority of fans will just slink out of the ground back to the pub/home. General anger peaked at the Bolton game, according to my uncle there's just an air of resignation around Ewood now.
Ralfinho
the way the owners have treat the fans and for the complete balls up kean has made of this season, it should be free admission and all season ticket holders given £15 back
Howler
At least it will be cheap to watch our last Premier League games, possibly for a long time. Fitting that it will be Wigan and Norwich, both of them packed with championship level players to get us ready for the years ahead.

winstonsmith
I cant help but think there are going to be some very angry supporters and some very ugly scenes come the Wigan game. I don't think there will be any scenes during the game if we still have a chance of staying up. However, it could be a different matter altogether if we have already been relegated before the Wigan game. It is not inconceivable. There are 3 games before then and if Wigan and QPR get 4 points each from their games and Rovers lose theirs then we would be down ! The main effect of these cheap tickets could be to help to swell the numbers of the baying mob demanding the heads of Kean and the Venky clan ! MarkBRFC
Understand need for support at critical time but now too many offers which devalues having a season ticket(s). This is a complete myth. Going off Blackburn end prices, i think it works out something like this... IIRC it was £20 for the Swansea, WBA & Bolton games, and of course it's £15 for the Norwich & Wigan games, making it £35 for 5 games. Add the £117 you would pay for the City, Utd & L'pool games, and that makes it £168 for less than half of the fixtures. Out of the other 11 home games, the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs & Newcastle would set you back on average £30 each, whilst the likes of Aston Villa, Fulham, Stoke, Wolves, Everton, QPR & Sunderland would command around £25 each. So it works out at approx £463 if you went to every match buying match tickets. Or £225 if you pay upfront and get a season ticket. Not really devalued is it? There is no way on earth they have sold out the Blackburn End (lower and upper), JW Stand (lower and upper) and Darwen End - NO WAY!!!!!
Derby Blue
Just been told by the ticket office that the offer is only available in the Riverside and the Jack Walker stands. If you want tickets in the BBE or Darwen End then you have to pay the full match price. Mentions nothing like that on the adverts though.

perthblue02
Certainly sounds like the naughty boys and girls are being punished. Wonder what trading standards would make of the false advertising, still under Venky's and Keans watch nothing surprises me.
Stuart
I thought the whole point of the offer was to improve the atmosphere at the games - give us a 12th man - and a chance of survival. The Riverside (cheap seats) is virtually full every game anyway apart from the extremities, and - with the greatest of respect - there's not going to be an atmosphere created at the back of the JW upper. So that clearly isn't the intention at all. What is it? Entice people down under the pretence of the same offer as in the past (whole ground) and then say "sorry, we're sold out but we do have some full price ones left"? And people are going to say "okay then"? The people who run our club are arrogant and deluded - from top to bottom. Say one thing - do the other. Again. mark1875
Seems like the club don't want the 'wrong sort' who go in the DE and BBE attracted to these games. Norwich City have complained that their tickets in the Darwen End stand at £29 whilst we are giving them away in the same area, so the Darwen End offer has been withdrawn for the moment. What's that got to do with it? It's part of a multigame deal - much like every other season.
