LDRover Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 No doubt in my mind that Klopp is the best manager out there at the moment. United would be foolish to ignore him this time.

davulsukur Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Didn't think they would sack moyes until he was failing spectacularly next season. Thought he would get the summer to try and get some players in. Klopp would be a good appointment, lets hope it doesn't happen.
Guest Norbert Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Utd sack Moyes, Martinez to Utd, Dyche to Everton, Moyes to Burnley. Kean to Burnley. That would be better. I hope this is a bit like when Benitez was supposed to be our next manager and Moyes stays.

He's hardly had a chance to stamp his mark on the team yet.
Audax Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I said to someone Ryan Giggs should manage them, they told me goal.com says that is who would come in for the interim and in my view, would probably stay for next year. They should go with someone like Giggs. If indeed, Moyes is sacked, not confirmed yet, sounds like it will happen.
West Yorks Rover Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 City charged 56 quid tonight .. Robbery I thought they had promised a ' cheap ticket policy ' Was that for away fans ? Did WBA overcharge them ?

ABBEY Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I thought they had promised a ' cheap ticket policy ' Was that for away fans ? Did WBA overcharge them ? 15 quid If twitter correct .. West ham have subsidised Just reeled a utd fan in twitter saying kean for utd haha ... Called me a knob haha
Audax Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 It'd be great if Giggs got the job, he'd be worse that Moyes. I dislike the club, won't say hate cause I probably got over that in much younger years but almost always hope they lose, I have little sympathy but they have had some good players.
thenodrog Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 City charged 56 quid tonight .. Robbery Serves em right. They want to win stuff and be a bigger club than man utd. Theirs is the highest paid squad in the sporting world. What on earth do they expect? Serves em right. They want to win stuff and be a bigger club than man utd. Theirs is the highest paid squad in the sporting world. There will be a price to pay and if they are willing to pay then that is just business. I wonder if their will be an effect on us? Shaw and Moyes are pretty close and that might be how we managed to loan Keane in. I was rather hoping there might be a few other spin off benefits.
rickard Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Let's wait and see if the manure fans get vilified in the media. Completely unfair treatment of the manager and so on... oh wait, that only applies when the manager in question is not even a manager to start with. Wonder if Moyes will be described as showing a lot of dignity...
thenodrog Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Sorry I meant city charge WBA £56 Greedy gits. There is an easy answer to that then isn't there Abbey?
thenodrog Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 It's 'The Damned United' again isn't it? A carbon copy! A well respected manager follows a massively successful club legend into the job and is ultimately sacked as a result of player power from a set of underperforming has beens and assorted never will be's left by said 'Legend'. Irony is that a lot of Man Utd fans wanted Mourhino yet despite having much more charisma than Moyes effectively his team setups and tactics are very similar to Moyes's and far removed from the attack minded wide play of Fergy's. I guess the biggest kicker in the eyes of the Glasers was seeing him spew so much money on two fairly average Premier League players in positions that weren't absolute priority to strengthen. With a lot more money needing to be spent they simply couldn't trust him and quite right too. It's not an uncommon factor though is it? They'll never admit it of course but lots of managers perform better with little or no money. We've had at least four that I can think of.
SouthAussieRover Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I trust Stevie boy has been on the phone to offer his support.
koi Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 This wont be a popular opinion but I still say Moyes is a top class manager, I'd have him in a heartbeat. Still very funny though.
Amo Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 This wont be a popular opinion but I still say Moyes is a top class manager, I'd have him in a heartbeat. Still very funny though. Time for Shaw to prove he actually has some connections in the game. Unfortunately, I think Bowyer's too cosy with her Ladyship to be potted now.
ABBEY Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Greedy gits. There is an easy answer to that then isn't there Abbey? They did ..they had a boycott . Some still payed though.
Backroom Tom Posted April 22, 2014 Backroom Posted April 22, 2014 This wont be a popular opinion but I still say Moyes is a top class manager, I'd have him in a heartbeat. Still very funny though. It was a poisoned chalice, nobody could ever replace Fergie someone had to come in and fail so that the next manager could rebuild without directly replacing Fergie. Moyes will do a good job elsewhere
davulsukur Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 This wont be a popular opinion but I still say Moyes is a top class manager, I'd have him in a heartbeat. Still very funny though. I think he is a decent manager, his time at Everton showed that. I wouldn't say top class though, he's failed miserably at the highest level. He will get another Premier League job in no time, Newcastle maybe? And I suspect he will do a decent job wherever he ends up.
koi Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Newcastle is my guess, maybe Spurs might have a sni I think he is a decent manager, his time at Everton showed that.I wouldn't say top class though, he's failed miserably at the highest level. He will get another Premier League job in no time, Newcastle maybe? And I suspect he will do a decent job wherever he ends up. He was on a hiding to nothing taking the job though I have been surprised how poor they've been. He did a very good job at PNE and took Everton from relegation contenders (remember the awful 'Dogs of War' tag they gave themselves ) to European football, occasionally, the point still stands that he's a decent manager. Newcastle is an obvious fit, Spurs maybe? Just started thinking about who Utd should go for but quickly realised I couldn't care less.
