philipl Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Almost as interesting as Glen breaking the story on facebook quoting Balaji is him calling for the action group to go.
glen9mullan Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Almost as interesting as Glen breaking the story on facebook quoting Balaji is him calling for the action group to go. You lost me?
Salgado Is A Hero Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/137/england/2012/12/27/3630301/blackburn-rovers-sack-henning-berg-report
philipl Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 You lost me? Probably need to rewrite your fb post which starts the action group must go.
Blue n White Rover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Still nothing on the official website. I'm guessing the press statement is on someone's desk at Ewood waiting to be released. We've been here before ladies and gentlemen!
glen9mullan Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Probably need to rewrite your fb post which starts the action group must go. It was my attempt of humour, hence the bracket statement at the end :-p
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 This story is must likely true sadly. Goal is owned by Espn who SS used to work for them would be sad to see a great rovers player being sack but things just havent work out
SouthAussieRover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I just wish Venkys would go forth and multiply off.
Blue n White Rover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 The article is pretty clear. No paper would use direct quotes and pass them off as certain. They could get sued if that was the case. I'm expecting him to leave.
philipl Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 I wonder if our classless owners have told Berg yet?
SAS Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Wonder what the difference is with one month of poor results compared to almost two years....
SydneyRover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 To be fair, this is the first time the owners have made swift decisive action when it was needed. The last time they took a decision like this was when they sacked Sam but obviously that wasn't needed. Since then they've taken a long time with every important decision. Since they will be paying Bergs compensation, at least it appears they still care about us getting promoted.
Stuart Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Since then they've taken a long time with every important decision. And invariably got every one wrong...
philipl Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Wonder what the difference is with one month of poor results compared to almost two years.... Berg would not do as he was told...
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Berg would not do as he was told... like what?
imy9 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Berg would not do as he was told... What, get results? Same team Kean and Black got decent results from, I like Berg but clear he was/is not up to the job.
Blue n White Rover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 like what? Like some Norwegian members posted when he took over. Just another puppet after all.
chris_h Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Berg would not do as he was told... Shut up you oaf
SydneyRover Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Is his the shortest (non caretaker) spell ever for a Rovers manager?
Ricky Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Stop making stuff up as pass it off as fact Philip. You really don't do yourself any favours. If he's gone surely its on the basis of results. I'd rather them take quick action than us have a Kean situation where we are stuck with a manager who isn't up to the job
Stuart Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Stop making stuff up as pass it off as fact Philip. You really don't do yourself any favours. If he's gone surely its on the basis of results. I'd rather them take quick action than us have a Kean situation where we are stuck with a manager who isn't up to the job Seemed like a reasonable assumption to me, Ricky. Aimed more at Kean's likely sycophantic loyalty than any anarchic Berg rebellion.
Stuart Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Goal have the story now. http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/137/england/2012/12/27/3630301/blackburn-rovers-sack-henning-berg-report?source=breakingnews Belaji Rao: "I want to go up" That costs money but also requires a sound strategy and stable club administrators, dear boy. FFS, he sounds like a clueless ignoramus who has been used to getting what he wants all his life without earning it. He'll be wanting the fans' respect next!
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 The LT is saying Berg close to the Exit. the owners had talks last nite n watch the game on tv back home
