[Archived] Next Rovers Manager

Recommended Posts

maybe so, but wasnt it Singh that recommendation to put Bowyer back in charge 2 weeks ago?

IMO, Singh would have appointed Mickey mouse if it meant getting rid of Appleton who had effectively frozen him out !

Now Shebby is back in town !

Aint rocket science Chaddy.

God knows Chaddy. He'll change his mind, appoint Captain Pugwash and then go on 606 denying it is crazy to appoint a fictional character from a children's cartoon.

Chaddy, it's one of Shebby's favourite haunts.

Get in there and put the world, particularly Rovers, to rights with him.

Could have been 'Coyley' as he lives only a couple of miles down the A59 from there !

Is he? Who by? Certainly not by the fans, and the porn peddlers are not rushing to get him signed up.

Seems like my "real or imaginary friend" is correct !

Doubt if there's enough brass.

Watch out for Ms Silk - understand Madam is an admirer !i

As for a new manager, think you are trying to convince yourself !

Please don't refer to her has madam ,that shows respect and the owd hag deserves not one bit of respect!!!!

Looks possible, at least, that Hughes is on his way to Leeds. Would love to see Venkys move Heaven and Earth to bring him here.

They just might start to be taken seriously even now.

Would never happen. Too much has gone on for way to long now.

Too late for them - too much damage has been done.

Financially we are a wreck and even in the PL we would still struggle now - too many fans lost, corporates etc etc - the financial black hole gets worse every week with surely an inevitable ending.

So what's the consensus now? Whatever Venkys do now, they will never be forgiven or accepted?

Must say that's how I see it but there must be plenty who'd go the other way if Venkys got a series of decisions right.

(Unlikely to see that on reflection!)

If Venky's got rid of the likes of Agnew and any other hanger-ons, appointed some competency both in the boardroom and on the coaching staff before making a full, frank and honest apology and explanation to the fans over what has gone on over the last 2 years, I would be willing to give them another chance.

Despite the mistakes, stupidity and naivety, I genuinely believe that the Venky's aren't the ultimate 'bad guys' in the whole scenario.

It may be that the penny has finally dropped with them, but I guess we'll see what happens in the coming weeks and months...

also the supporter base is well and truly fractured too much in fighting and too many with their own hidden agendas
