There is an under 21 match tomorrow against Derby at Leyland.

This is a perfect opportunity to give Carter some playing time. I'm not holding my breath though given the reluctance we have shown in this respect.

Given the fact we have no game for 2 weeks Gueye could also do with a run out.

I would imagine they have got some sort of behind closed doors game arranged as well, similar to the last break when they played the Dingkes

The one part of the article that stood out for me, I also spoke with Sir Kenny Dalglish a few days ago and he told me great things about the environment at this football club.

I would be surprised if Dalglish is commenting on the here and now though.

Looks like a sensible appointment, which is not a given with this lot. Hope he can do a good job and bring a few more of the academy lads through - recent squads suggest he has a job on his hands!

Can anyone who's familiar with the younger players confirm what Atcheson and Litherland are like?

Are they really that bad that neither can be risked and we need to play a winger at CB instead?

In all the time I've been watching the Club, I've never known the the earth cave in because we've handed a young players their debut.

Could the reluctance to use them be for financial reasons more than due to their ability?

Why? Dalglish was here for Plymouth game last season, he know Robert Coar and probably alot of people still here, plus add his wealth of experience and knowledge he has, he will know most things,

So you expect that that there are great things to be said about the environment within a football club owned by Venkys (who couldnt be arsed showing up to our anniversary) and one being run by Suhail, Gestede and Owen?

He will be talking about the club he remembers.

I don't know. 

I only mentioned the other two because Atcheson's name has appeared on the bench recently.

Opinions on all 3 welcome. If none of them are a better option than Hedges in that position, I can't see much of a future in professional football for them.

Well, according to a few people who've left the Club recently it isn't great. And Suhail admitted in the last Fans Forum that the various players who have left wanted to leave the Club.

Dalglish is obviously talking about the environment from when he was here 30 odd years ago chaddy.

Dalglish wouldn't have the first clue what 2025 venkys Blackburn Rovers looks like behind the scenes or what the environment is.

He is talking about his memories of the club from 30-35 years ago, if it is even a correct quote.

All three have undoubted potential. Out of the three I would say Litherland is the best equipped physically to cope at Championship level but he is injured. 

Part of me says sink or swim with youngsters. Not many had heard of Phil Jones before the phenomenon of his debut.

They are not good enough for the championship.
