How does your view fit with the widely-applauded win at Oxford and the 10-man resistance at Newport ?

Are we placing our progress on two games against league 2 opposition? We certainly have low standards nowadays

Sky Sports just announced that Rhodes is expected in Middlesbrough this afternoon after leaving Brockhall shortly after 9am this morning. Hell fire, either all the roads are blocked or he's walking it.

Transfer guy on Talks port just said "Not exactly travelling back up to Boro but a deal "could" happen."

I am sure if everything was done on Saturday, a conversation could take place over the phone to sort this now. Why does he need to physical be there? Medical done, shown around the place, surely it is just a matter of revamping the terms?

I am beyond caring.

However, if Rhodes stays at Ewood he will have a prominent role to play in fighting relegation and I am confident he will play it.

Just to summarise:

Jordan Rhodes was sent home from training without having his breakfast. He's travelling to Boro while he remains at home playing with his train.

Following a climb down by Rhodes agent, he will not now demand a free pint of milk after training every day. He's expected to sign for new Club Middlesborough at 22:59:59 pm because Boro's Chairman can't stand people and wants to win the World Pranking Championship.

Meanwhile back in the Sky Sports Studio, Jim White will continue to be a hyperactive annoying smug f@nny, with an incredibly irritating squeaky voice.

Over in Pune no one from Venkys will be available for comment.

Probably just a matter of being there to actually sign the contract when/if the agents and finance people reach agreement. As we know faxes aren't too reliable.
