Salgado Is Still A Hero
About £225 but I only usually put a pound or two each time. For ages my highest was £125 which was Yakubu to score first/Rovers to beat QPR 3-2.

Hasta
Biggest win was an £8 placepot at Uttoxeter a few years ago that paid about £1300 I had 10 quid on Greece in 2004 after their first game at 33/1- if I'd put it on before the tournament I'dve got 100/1.I had a few quid on Greece on Betfair after they had qualified from the group stages but just lost against Russia in the final game. Think I got about 80/1.Biggest loss was Italy to beat Scotland in some qualifier about 10 years ago. A drunken £125 on the way home from Haydock. Well above anything I usually put on. I like the look of Bayern Munich tonight looks a great bet.I like West Ham to qualify at 4/5. (Edit - maybe not)
VinjayV4
I don't know whether its sponsored by the betting site but good free publicity for Paddy Power on William Hill's website! Anyway Paddy Power is the favorite at 21.10 Cheltenham. 4/6 odds on and 5 other runners at 3/1, 5/1, 16/1, 28/1, 50/1. Would keep an eye on the Borussia Dortmund game at Anfield as they are 2-0 up. Could bet on Dortmund at 1/10 (that's probably already changed) as part of an accumulator if any other teams are a couple of goals ahead at decent odds. Might be worth betting a small amount on a Liverpool draw. Or waiting to see if the pull one back and betting on Dortmund then. EDIT-Paddy Power won. Nowhere near £139 winnings this time but I won't say no to £8. EDIT-Didn't be anything on Liverpool/Dortmund in end but may turn out to be a great decision if you bet on the draw at HT!. VinjayV4
Only 3 runners for 14.00 at Ayr and one of them is 40/1 previously 33/1. Some people on here like to make bets on really long odds so that might attract a few. The favourite is 4/6 and 2nd favourite is 11/8. The safe route would be to bet on the 2 favourites or at least betting on the favourite with a small bet on the 40/1 as well. Others may see the 11/8 as being good value just by itself. EDIT-Favourite won.

You do realise Cheltenham and Chelmsford are different places?Plus I love the fact you are telling us what you backed that won after the event (the £139 horse) but you are not actually backing the 'tips' you are posting such as the Liverpool game. VinjayV4
Well tonight my horses have decided not only will they lose but keep annoyingly finishing 2nd also. Though a few did win earlier in the day so perhaps it evens out. My overpriced internet deciding my connection was obviously working too well. Not at all annoying when you're trying to see if your house hasn't finished 2nd for the 47th time in a row. Think that's my signal to "cash out" and significantly reduce my betting activity for a few days.
Neil Weaver
Think that's my signal to "cash out" and significantly reduce my betting activity for a few days. Got my optimistic head on - does that mean you'll post less for a few days?
VinjayV4
3pm at Ayr tomorrow is one for those who like to bet on the "longshots". The thing with this horse is its not being talked up as a complete longshot (including other comments than the site opinion) and might surprise. 40/1 but here's the description... Has to prove he retains his ability but, back from year off, in December he didn't take to fences on his first two attempts, while good ground maybe unsuitable in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham; up there for quite a long way which provides optimism this front-runner retains some spark, and he's down to an attractive mark based on his 2014 hurdling form on testing ground at Haydock, including a Grade 2 novice win and a second to The New One. There's the each way option as well of course.
Hasta
Presuming that you mean Zamdy Man, that's not actually a bad shout. Last night I backed that and Sternrubin. In the Scottish National, I've backed Golden Chieftain and GoodToKnow E/W

Tyrone Shoelaces
I used to work with a heavy gambler. He would always put £ hundreds on and he only backed odds on favourites. I remember the day he backed France to beat Senegal in the inaugural match of World Cup in France. He put £600 on France to win with odds at about 6 to 1 on. Let's just say he wasn't a happy chap that day.

In the Scottish National, I've backed Golden Chieftain and GoodToKnow E/W Yeah Zamdy Man. Put on rather more than my usual £1, £2 average as well (on odds like that its usually less) so I'll be very happy if it wins! Won't know until after 5pm though as I don't own a decent smartphone lol! Have to admit I've most most of that £139 profit (unless Zamdy man wins and no I didn't place THAT much on it!) but its not going to prevent me paying the bills. Just had a bad run last night (horses finishing 2nd constantly so it was bad luck more than incompetence really) and ended up losing my temper with internet connection, etc. As I said though I can make £20 last quite a while through caution and patience. I'll have a break until next weekend though if nothing comes in today. I might have a quick bet on Chris Brown scoring lol. Many might say that should be 40/1!. He's gonna break it at some point though surely so why not today! EDIT-Well I had some "unsettled bets" today (placed yesterday) and I've won half of that money back now. The horses started winning again! Unfortunately that didn't include Zamdy Man.
VinjayV4
So basically your saying you could back every horse. Genius. No I was saying if you made a small bet (a quid for instance) on the 40/1 that could retain significant amount from stakes placed on the other 2 horses. The other 2 would guarantee at least a small profit if either won as expected. Seems quite natural to do that in a race with 3 runners if one has such long odds. J*B
Closing in on 400 profit on matched betting ... Takes a bit of time but it's free money . Some bookies ban you when you win your free bet . They love taking but so do I ha I got to about the same figure and then ran out of free sign up bets. Other than Bet365, where if you keep winning you need to get to about 800 quid before you can withdraw! After that it got to 'reload' offers, which are fine if your sat on emails all day but rubbish if you have any sort of life. I've reverted back to putting a Chaddy on an accumulator every weekend. Mattyblue
Looking forward to the return of Test cricket this week. Usually some great prices to be found on Betfair (the exchange, not their value free Sportsbook) over the course of the Test. Only worry is that the teams touring this summer could roll over-Sri Lanka especially.

Norbert Rassragr
Not bad odds, but I think he's just won the Giro D'Italia, so he may fade in the 3rd week when the mountains grind everyone down. It's rare for someone to win the TdF and the race in Italy or Spain in one year because of the physical exertion.

Norbert Rassragr
Nibali is in the right team for it, since Astana have been involved in doping. Twice.
oldjamfan1
Wales are 3/1 to beat Portugal. I know Ramsay is suspended but that seems bloody generous, given both team's respective form and records in the Euros to date. Bookies rarely get it wrong but that doesn't look right. Reminds me of the odds on Rovers to win at Oxford in the FA Cup earlier this year.
