People now replying to every football story they see with #venkysout

I've tried to get Joey Barton to retweet but that's unlikely

We have to do it ourselves nobody cares if I'm honest I think we put a lot of noses out of joint in 1995

How do we do this - 'People now replying to every football story they see with #venkysout'

Thanks

Basically people are following newspapers and the like and every tweet they make about football folk are replying with #venkysout

I was the same. Just find the bit - it's at the bottom of my screen - with a pen, click on it type your message with #VenkysOut then click tweet. Easy. If you're not sure research on Google. There are loads of tutorials

Thanks I sound so fking old .... I am pretty good with other social media stuff, just havent used twitter so much... thanks for the advice though.

I'm working it out as I go along too. Never felt the need to use twitter before but this is working. At least people are taking notice

Sorry for another stupid question, if I retweet something do I have to add #VenkysOut or is that already in the original tweet?

in the original tweet. Anything you retweet, is basically taking that persons tweet and resending it.

i just replied to a Vodka ad, #venkysout

I think it a great idea to get things started ..... rather than going in for a dirty protest outside the ground without it being organised .... hopefully the rest of our fans will wake and do an organised boycott and protest, with one of the Trusts behind it.

So sad it has come to this....

Are you familiar with what a dirty protest actually is? ;)

Good to see it is now in the Telegraph. Paul Wheelock has sent me a message to say he is on holiday. He did get in touch with them though to get the story on the site. He is following it from abroad.

I think the AMF movement has gathered real pace the last few years and in the main there are large numbers of football fans who have a more worldly view of the problems in football. It tends to be the Sky Sports moron generation who are blindly focussed on their own club, usually through replica shirts and tv subscriptions than actually ever setting foot in the ground or city for that matter.

The Blackpool friendly! A "not a boycott event"! Perfect opportunity.

The Blackpool match is perfect for a protest. But we must not enter Bloomfield Road. Don't give the Oystons a penny.

Ive just asked the LT if they're going to mention the #venkysout trending worldwide. They replied that it will be online soon

They are to busy trying to sell Grant Hanley at the min.

Well he did appear on TV, wearing a Bob Dylan Tshirt, saying he was studying Philosophy LOL

I have a suggestion on this, which will man shelling out for the cost of a ticket, but with it being a means to an end, perhaps it is worth it. Once we know how many tickets are available, it is agreed, if possible between Tangerine fans and Rovers fans that we try to sell out the whole ground. No one enters the ground before the game, before we have an arranged ticket swap. We try as much as possible to get a mixture of Rovers fans and Blackpool fans in each end. Fans all unite as one to sing shout, unfurl banners ETC as one. It could be a themed day Fans United against bad owners.

A lot organise I know, but am sure supporters of both clubs are capable of doing it.

Did he speak with a French accent?

If you have a look at the Blackpool message boards , I think you would be hard pressed to get even a minority forking out for a ticket and into the ground. All credit to them they are sticking to their guns and not giving Oyston a penny (well unless a court demands it).

Back Henry Street website will give you an idea of the feeling amongst Blackpool supporters http://backhenrystreet.co.uk

Fair play to them and this may not get off the ground. Worth a go though, if anyone has contact with anyone of influence, amongst their supporter base.
