J*B
Nobody knows. Classic Venkys, we've said we're going to do it, we're just going to hope it happens come the first day of the season.
AggyBlue
Probably just be a big cherry picker with the platform over the roof.
perthblue02
Wonder if they have considered how empty the Owner and Directors boxes will look from the new camera angle, suppose they could get lookalikes to stand in.
tomphil
They'll start doing it during the season then say sorry we'll have to relocate you to the JW whilst some work is going on. All part of the plan.
ABBEY
Great them wankys . Last time , we got told the sun didn't allow this . The wankys have moved the sun it ain't now a problem. Edited May 27, 2016 by ABBEY
Stuart
It'd be just like "The Venkys Experience" to move everyone to the JW to make the ground look fuller, and then (having not done any due diligence into the finer details) realise that they can't they end up pointing the cameras at an even emptier Riverside! Of course, "The Venky Experience - Bonus Disc" might reveal it was the plan all along! There have been all kinds of reasons why this wasn't possible/feasible when the ground was full. What has suddenly changed now? Answer - probably nothing and rather than look like fools, they'll deny anyone ever suggested it to them. tomphil
Suns never shone on Ewood anyway since they arrived
AggyBlue
As many as possible should move to the Riverside for televised games
T J Hooker
Id be happy to see the pundits in the gantry made as uncomfortable as possible, all they've ever done is belittle us anyway. Edited May 27, 2016 by T J Hooker
J*B
At least we now have this option available to us now, live on TV.
perthblue02
At least we now have this option available to us now, live on TV. Or a few of those large luminous arrows that shops use for sale items, all pointing at the absent owners seats, and a special tie shaped one pointing at Burnley Bob inbetween lunch courses. Could be a good idea this camera move
West Yorks Rover
Wonder if they have considered how empty the Owner and Directors boxes will look from the new camera angle, suppose they could get lookalikes to stand in. They seem to be happy with ST sales, up 144 % on last year, new family stand, 255 sold as opposed to 5 last yr, according to Rovers website. Quite pleased with themselves. tomphil
Which is obviously nothing more than people jumping in first to pick the best seats. If they don't get that they really are daft.
MCMC1875
The setting sun isn't a problem? Well watch the recording of Accrington Stanley v Wimbledon play off 2nd leg. Bloody clowns!

I assume they'll tell Sky/BBC etc in advance. If the camera ops know its there it isn't a problem. Its when they turn up unaware its an issue. Mattyblue
A definite PR exercise going on, talking about exact amounts of tickets sold when in the past you would hear nothing of actual sales. I mean 250 sold instead of 5, that's some like for like increase! Nevermind closing stands, we'll need a bigger ground if sales carry on at this rate!

Stuart
The cynic in my wonders if this will end up being "not feasible" once the dust has settled on the Family Stand move...?
T J Hooker
I don't see how they can get around the sun shine issue, unless there are some special camera filters that can deal with it and theres also the pillars obviously.

Ben-2000
The pillars would not matter as the new gantry would be suspended from the front of the roof.
