Nancy has lost 6 of his first 8 games as Celtic manager, surely he won't last much longer now?

Must have been in a different topic but I posted a bit about his management style when he got appointed. Always seemed like a win or bust style and it seems to be more bust than win at Celtic.

He's very much one of these new era coaches who is wedded to a philosophy and has zero flexibility to do anything else.

If it works, then great. It it doesn't, you're cooked.

Doesn't look like the Celtic squad are suited to his 'style'. So the board will either have to deal with the fury of the terraces until the summer and give this bloke a lot of money to reshape the team (and then hope for the best), or cut their losses before they're completely out of the title picture and - in all likelihood - bring O'Neill back until the end of the season.

As I've said many times half my family are Celtic fans so I go up a fair amount. The thing is with Nancy, like Amorim he's tried to play a system (3-4-3) that is can be complex at the best of times with the right players. Celtic currently do not have a single full back who can play wing back in the club, when Scales is fit, all the back 3 are left footed and add in to that we sold our only 2 strikers in Kyogo and Idah. It's been an awful appointment from start to finish and whilst I think the guy is a total dud, he has been totally set up to fail given the board knew the system he wanted to play and the players he had at his disposal.

Scottish football need Celtic and Rangers to miss out on the title this season - big ask on Hearts if Rangers and / or Celtic hit form.

Hearts are genuinely the best of the three teams at the moment. The transfer window is the crucial element now that the old firm have steadier hands at their rudders.
