Stansfield did very well as lone striker in his season at Birmingham in the championship and if you look at Liam Delap he wasn't ripping up the championship before his move to Ipswich after their promotion. One good season at PL and now at Chelsea

For every striker who has underwhelmed in the Championship before ending up a Champions League club a year later, I suspect that quite a lot more do not have the same progression.

Harvey Elliott, what a player - wasted at Liverpool. Probably our best player of the last decade but it goes under the radar due to covid

I'd be more curious to see which Academies they came out of - I know Elliot, Livarmento and Scott (edit: and Hutchison and Stansfield) aren't at their original teams, I bet they're not the only ones.

Stansfield should have been sliding in for that cross. You’ve got to gamble. MacAtee should he buried that chance he got. It would have been over.  Now it isn’t. You can’t let them play balls into the box like that when they have two giants up front.

To be fair, it was a bit of a mismatch but probably would have been avoided without the enforced change.

Lee Carsley should have been given the England job, it’s a travesty we went for a German on a short term contract.
