He has shone and 18 months his next move he is ready now for that next step. A move to Liverpool would be good move for him in my opinion. You witness the development of Curtis Jones this season under Slot. 

I'm not disputing where he went wasn't good for him. I'm saying we needed money quickly, Palace knew and took advantage.

That is  the crux of the whole debate and is irrefutable.

Wharton is building his PL career and a move to Palace 18 months probably was the right move for his development given he would be PL regular and show his talent where his talent is being seen. Dan Ashworth visited Ewood Park a number of times and I guess he was scouting Adam Wharton.

So we had to sell Wharton there and then for whatever we could get because the owners don't fund us? Had we waited till summer we'd have got way more for him and Venkys would have got more than their money back.

But its not the way things are done at Rovers.

Incidentally Palace have survived 2 periods in administration so I don't see why we wouldn't come back stronger as well. Worth it to get rid of the tyranny of Venky ownership.

A farewell to Goodison Park, the first away ground I ever did, Everton 0-0 Rovers (26/9/98) a ground full of history no doubt, but an awful fan experience as witnessed on my last visit to L4 for Everton 2-3 Rovers (Paul Ince’s first game in charge - 16/8/08) as we were on the back row of the lower tier and could barely see the pitch!

I went to Goodison Park once, we lost 3 nil with Salgado in one of his first game. We were shocking poor

Bramley Moore Dock looks a great stadium and hopefully we can get a FA cup draw there in January

If they insist upon keeping VAR, then they should change VAR rules so that if VAR cannot say for certain within 30 seconds, then the refs/linesman's original decision stands

If Tom Cleverley gets the job of a relegated side with parachute payments, considering he oversaw the worst second half of a season in the Championship, then he has one hell of an agent.

Don't let them Toffees tell you Goodison was the first purpose built football ground.  Our Leamington Street ground was the daddy of them all.
