roversfan99 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Should have clapped a fanbase that had idiots giving him stick 😂 He was the one that was let down. Us fans have constantly been let down but not by him, by those who own and run the club. Just some are blind to it. 7 Quote

The lengths you are going to to make Eustace seem like the villain, redirecting again away from the people who let him down and keep letting us down, have become beyond a joke. Not clapping a fanbase that were giving him stick. 7 Quote

Yet again, we discussed this more than once and we going over the same things AGAIN. Eustace lied to the fans over when the Derby's approach was made, and that we were a family and in this together. Rovers was at fault for certain things like contract extension or bringing Thomas-Asante into Rovers last January or being slow to react to Derby's approach and allowing him to take the Wolves game 14 minutes ago, roversfan99 said: Not clapping a fanbase that were giving him stick. RevidgeBlue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Eustace has only been at Derby less than half a season yet his career there is already mirroring his here. Saved a Club that looked doomed to relegation then next season has them in and around the top 6. Meanwhile, our mon is taking us in the other direction. But we're better off apparently because he's "honest" in interviews as one diabolical decision after another occurs with his blessing, and doesn't say "y'know" a lot in his pressers. 1 Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) TBH Eustace nearly got us relegated and had half a good season last year. A decent coach no doubt and as yesterday showed, he knows how to play this division. Giving ex-players and coaches stick is part of the hero/villian aspect of football. Take that out and you might as well watch chess. Edited 2 hours ago by Paul Mellelieu 1 1 1 Quote

DuffsLeftPeg Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago It’s no wonder protests never get off the ground with all this in fighting about irrelevant former managers. Thick as f*ck. The majority of our current fanbase are an absolute embarrassment, just like the goons in the boardroom and the weakest manager & squad in our recent history. #VenkysOut is all that matters. If you’re not behind it, you’re part of the problem. 3 Quote

To hear and see people falling into the diversion trap of blaming the likes of Eustace (and Travis,) rather than raging against Suhail and Gestede makes me want to weep. Wanna buy a plastic snake, anyone? FFS! 3 Quote

Eustace (I think) had Birmingham in the play off positions when he was sacked there, had us in the play off positions when the management forced him out here and already has Derby within striking distance of the play offs. There's a bit of a pattern there........ I get the rivalry aspect but personally Id save the derision for ex coaches who were crap for us. So by the same token I guess you'd say we should have been waving plastic snakes (if they made them in those days) at Furphy, Lee, Smith, Kendall, Mackay, Dalglish, Hughes etc? 2 1 Quote

He clapped us at pride park last season and wished us the best and hoped we’d get promoted but he still got absolute dogs abuse. Don’t blame him if I was him I’d of shoved it in their faces. Should have directed the blame at pasha, venkys and Rudy 🤦♂️ (the real snakes) 3 Quote

We’ve been lied to by this regime so many time. Eustace lying about the day he was approached doesn’t bother me, ultimately if he was backed and given what he wanted to get us promoted he’d still be here but Rudy and pasha didn’t want him here and probably couldn’t wait to see the back of him. We have had a manager under these owners who literally claimed that fans had spiked his drinks, to try and avoid a drink-drive charge. I think a lie over the timing of an approach from a club by a matter of two days isn’t something worth getting annoyed about. 6 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 16 minutes ago Posted 16 minutes ago You just need to understand a big percentage of match goers, they by and large aren’t interested in ‘off the field’ stuff. They just want to ‘get behind the club’. They see a manager that left for a club in a similar position in the league and they can’t comprehend it over ‘well, he’s greedy, boo, hiss 🐍!’ They don’t put two and two together as to why so many players and managers want to get away, they are just ‘disloyal’. They furthermore see dissenting chants as also not ‘getting behind the club’, though in reality that is what the dissenters are doing as we are the club and want better for it instead of meekly accepting this regime’s downsizing of it.
