People need to spend less time on those who definitely won’t boycott and more time on the ones who are open to persuasion.

Looks like I was initially wrong and their "reported" attendances were actually quite strong but the reality having taken a look at their forum was quite different

Fantastic to see the nationwide coverage this has gained,Kudos to all involved.

Now then...lets see how long it takes Venky and those resident at Ewood to respond,we the fans demand it!

This awaited responce will tell us all of their real intentions and level of interest as they are well and truly under the spotlight.

Nowhere to run Venkys,nowhere to hide,we wait with baited breath...

I do wonder if anything will affect the venkys.. 15 years and not really a word from them. I do sometimes wonder as well with the bizarre decision makings we've seen down the last 15 years whether we are still being run by Z agent, and Venkys is just a name to cover it up..
Protests have happened before and they just stay silent. I am in no way discouraging the protest idea or anything im just voicing a feeling that i feel they dont seem to give a damn, which is just so odd and fishy. Some of the decisions we've witnessed over these 15 years have been sporadic, and sometimes absolutely nuts, where it just makes no sense ever. Sometimes it also feels like deliberate sabotage. I do sometimes get the feeling does this make a certain company or person something beneficial out of us (rather than this being solely a venkys ownership), it never ever feels like the end goal should be promotion or successful results, everything just never adds up and always seems fishy. 
I know something must be done, I just have that feeling that whatever does happen Venkys wont care or respond like they usually do. Also attendances are already dire, just not sure anything more will look too obvious as it already looks empty most the time. 
I suppose we can not give up, and the show goes on, we all care the football club and all want the same goal. Just hope we get some hope we deserve sooner or later.

Rightly or wrongly, some people can’t be persuaded to ‘join in’ - I just don’t see the point in berating (for want of a better word) them for this.

I saw on Facebook but can't find it any more that a Sheffield Wednesday fan group were supporting our boycott by telling their fans not to buy anything in the stadium. 

Wonder if this is something that could be focused on. Reach out to opposition supporters groups / forums and ask them not to spend a penny but direct them to some good quality local businesses near the stadium instead. Gets money away from the club and into the town.

This is my protest 'starting point' from Saturday.

I never buy any of the tat from the club shop anyway, but will not be buying any more rip-off food/drinks from the kiosks.

Yeah, I watched the game on Sky.

Ignore whatever figure they pushed out because it was absolutely dead in the stadium.

Remember a fair number of those who won’t be boycotting aren’t doing it just ‘because I want to support the lads’. They don’t want Venky’s out in the first place, so logically why would they not turn up.

Really pleased to see the coalition pushing for a boycott. This is what I've been pushing for a long time. 

 

The big one though is... Push for a boycott on season tickets. This is the one that matters.

Me neither. But crap football, in a neglected stadium, hoping no rain for fear of an abandonment, and with no access to hot drinks in winter/ cold in summer, nor food before or during the game = Even less of an enticing prospect for many. No money spent at Ewood - tickets and/or food and drink means the operation is even less viable as a going concern.

To the Coalition,if no response is forthcoming from Venkys or those at Ewood by Friday then keep the pressure up with further open,frank and to the point correspondence etc and let the local and National media know about it.

What about people who want to buy presents for children/family members? 

I've not bought items like food and drinks down to the options available and price on the concourse for 2 or 3 years now. Instead I buy from the burger van behind the club shop.
