Yep what I said is 100% true, you can call it ‘pouring cold water’ if you want, DLP,  but most protest against the regime *won’t happen* at Ewood (especially if the team is doing well) - simple as that. So don’t give the regime ammunition that there’s no support for protest if one man and his dog turn up for them and get behind what Glen is doing instead.

How are they doing this? Why do we just have accept that we can't compete or generate money in any way other than selling anything that's not nailed down?

Birmingham might have a bigger fan base but not enough to get anywhere near the levels of clubs with parachute payments.

I wouldn’t say they have a bigger fan base, tbf, even with being based in the ‘second (biggest) city’.

I like to think I’ve been about a bit over the years and I’ve never met/known a Brum fan.

Their core fanbase isn’t particularly large, however they will always see thousands coming out the woodwork if they get some momentum on the pitch - just the way it is when you are based in the UK’s second biggest city.

Odd odd club Brum are they had to drop into league 1, spend record amounts of money and wages for that div in order to become a 'big club' and fill their ground.

Averaging similar to us a while ago in the Championship but as pointed out they have hundreds of thousands on their doorstep to draw from every time there is a sniff of success in some form. Brum hardcore fans are sound enough apart from the coin chucking scum but the fly by nights jumping on and off their bandwagon are clowns.

Must be the most hated team of all time in league 1 but i suppose Wrexham are grateful for that but i think it's incredibly sad to spend so much in that league and it does the state of the game no favours at all.

It's fair to say our promotion rivals are all in lockdown preparing for their matches with their clubs just 3 games away from a £150? Payday.

Its fair to say we'd be doing the same?

Nope we've got an experience day at the training ground with every corporate possible as a distraction to what imo should be all focus on Saturday.

I'm pretty sure the players rather be focused on the game rather than this .

I don't see what the problem is here, Tuesday training took place as normal and this was afternoon event when the players would be going home and not at Brockhall anyway.

To me, it's a lunch event with corporate clients. The players would have lunch at Brochall anyway. So hence why I see it non story.

Souness wouldn't have put up with that, I remember Ken Beamish telling me years ago that he wouldn't let the players do hardly anything in terms of charitable activities etc because he viewed the players rest time as paramount.
