Guess comments like these ❚❚ Searched for 'protest ' in Topics by the way, I'm not saying you are wrong but your point about "don’t expect the match goers to be protesting when the team is winning, won’t happen, neither will a big protest happen at the ground against Watford. So forget about that. Match day protests in any great numbers will be organic and will only occur if the team is on a horror run/bottom of the league. " is spot on and I agree with Mattyblue Quote
Mattyblue Posted Sunday at 14:36 Posted Sunday at 14:36 Oh I see, thought he was on about me talking about searches. Yep what I said is 100% true, you can call it ‘pouring cold water’ if you want, DLP, but most protest against the regime *won’t happen* at Ewood (especially if the team is doing well) - simple as that. So don’t give the regime ammunition that there’s no support for protest if one man and his dog turn up for them and get behind what Glen is doing instead. 2 Quote
davulsukur Posted Sunday at 15:01 Posted Sunday at 15:01 How are they doing this? Why do we just have accept that we can't compete or generate money in any way other than selling anything that's not nailed down? Birmingham might have a bigger fan base but not enough to get anywhere near the levels of clubs with parachute payments. 3 Quote

I was asked by a steward what was my bag which I shown him and he was fine with it. very easy, nothing to hide Quote

I wouldn’t say they have a bigger fan base, tbf, even with being based in the ‘second (biggest) city’. I like to think I’ve been about a bit over the years and I’ve never met/known a Brum fan. 2 Quote
Mattyblue Posted Sunday at 15:24 Posted Sunday at 15:24 Their core fanbase isn’t particularly large, however they will always see thousands coming out the woodwork if they get some momentum on the pitch - just the way it is when you are based in the UK’s second biggest city. 1 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted Sunday at 16:34 Posted Sunday at 16:34 (edited) Odd odd club Brum are they had to drop into league 1, spend record amounts of money and wages for that div in order to become a 'big club' and fill their ground. Averaging similar to us a while ago in the Championship but as pointed out they have hundreds of thousands on their doorstep to draw from every time there is a sniff of success in some form. Brum hardcore fans are sound enough apart from the coin chucking scum but the fly by nights jumping on and off their bandwagon are clowns. Must be the most hated team of all time in league 1 but i suppose Wrexham are grateful for that but i think it's incredibly sad to spend so much in that league and it does the state of the game no favours at all. I’m convinced forming some sort of alliance would be beneficial for both clubs. Football clubs and fans are pillars of the community, steeped in history and we must never allow these charlatans to destroy that. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS I 100% agree Gav. I've been saying there needs to be a unified front from all supporters of all teams to affect changes for a long time. 2 Quote
glen9mullan Posted Tuesday at 14:53 Posted Tuesday at 14:53 (edited) It's fair to say Saturdays game is the biggest in 15 years. It's fair to say our promotion rivals are all in lockdown preparing for their matches with their clubs just 3 games away from a £150? Payday. Its fair to say we'd be doing the same? Nope we've got an experience day at the training ground with every corporate possible as a distraction to what imo should be all focus on Saturday. I'm pretty sure the players rather be focused on the game rather than this . Peed me off this Edited Tuesday at 14:54 by glen9mullan 6 Quote

DeeCee Posted Tuesday at 17:49 Posted Tuesday at 17:49 Distraction tactics, don't hype the squad up, make them servile, lucky to be employed. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted Tuesday at 20:14 Posted Tuesday at 20:14 I don't see what the problem is here, Tuesday training took place as normal and this was afternoon event when the players would be going home and not at Brockhall anyway. This is non story 2 Quote

Also just for record, I respect your opinion even if I disagree with it 1 Quote

Popular Post glen9mullan Posted Wednesday at 17:46 Popular Post Posted Wednesday at 17:46 There is 100% showdown talks , think I mentioned this last week. All media videos have been sent to India just in case they missed them. 😉 Also other things of interest being sent too, we can't allow the fabricated version to go to the Raos. Finger pointing, apportioning of blame has become a common trait in the SLT at Rovers over the years and it's no different now I think we are back to the Shagnew v Singh days at boardroom level, and only current results may save some of them. Let's see who goes under the bus, though 1000% the Raos have been put in the picture 19 Quote
