I think this is the thing which annoys me most now when I hear it from other Rovers fans. That we should be somehow grateful and accepting of our current owners and that we couldn't do any better without "doing a Bury/Morecambe".

That group of fans are self-interested. They want Ewood with 1k on so they can say they were there and scream platitudes like thick and thin and get behind the boys to give them superiority. They see this as a test of their credentials. You can of course simultaneously support the players and hate the owners. 

I guess it's like having children , why would you want anything but the best and believe they deserve anything but the best , they are special in your eyes at least. Sadly we have some who think Venkys are Mary Poppins.

Nothing to see here bar one small Banner in the BBE.

The biggest protest we've had is the 12,000+ that have voted with their feet and stopped going. 

All's that's left now are the absolute hardcore (even some of them are starting to reach the point of knocking it on the head) and the drongo suuuuper fanz.

The brain dead happy clappers are as much to blame for the situation as venkys and their cohorts IMO.

Wednesday fans are much more energised & unified than Rovers fans…but Chansiri is still there…

The crowd was reported as 19000+. But Brum bought 7000. so we're down to 12000+for the first home League game of the season. And that will have included season ticket holders who didn't attend.

Exactly the crowd i knew it would be accounting for the price rises.

I know of a few who said they were not paying that much for that game against a non local rival who were in league 1 last season. 

'Kind of prices you might expect against Burnley or Liverpool in the FA cup' as one guy put it. To not even hit 20k when the opposition brings seven thousand shows where we are at now this season, some awful crowds on the horizon but no more than they deserve.

Taking were probably up on the Derby game last season even though there were about 2k less home fans so they'll see it as a success.

They don't give a #### the Luton Arsenal fan will be seeing a bonus in his £ eyeballs.

Also noticeable were the gaps in the centre upstairs in the DE were they were charging £38 i think.

So like we thought, the JW that had been pretty well populated in recent seasons was very sparse in the non-central blocks and the Riverside slightly busier. Also, the Blackburn End was far emptier on the Riverside side.

Amazing the pissing about they do on an annual basis with the same c9,000 ST Holders.

I sit in the JWU opposite the BBE penalty spot near to the front.
Previously, the row has always been well populated. Yesterday though, to our left which is probably 15 or so seats, there wasn't a soul.  

I suppose that it made it easier for a sharp exit after that debacle at the end!
