alex l Posted yesterday at 10:35 Posted yesterday at 10:35 That would actually be peak Rovers with their current organisation. And then spin it as a thank you to those who took a chance; anyone else can now pay £200 per shirt to make up the loss to the club projections. Quote

I weigh up which matches to go to based on my personal xE score…Expected Entertainment..! If it’s a new ground, an exciting away day, involves meeting up with friends/family…the xE rises. Rovers playing well contributes to the xE but is no longer the key contributor. I’ve found I’d rather go to fewer games (invariably away) but wrap something into the day beyond just the football. Once that habit is broken & you start justifying the spending then it’s easier just to watch on TV. That explains the missing 13,000. The 8,000 are like I was in the 80’s…I’d sell my granny to go to Ewood. My tipping point was Owen Coyle….the closest I got to buying a season ticket again was after meeting JDT at Brockhall…! I need to see the XE rating in table format 🤣 Quote

... Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Charlton game also billed as BRING A FRIEND FOR A TENNER Quote
roversfan99 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not trying hard. 4 game bundles at that price or bring a friend are not going to make much difference. Quote
Mattyblue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago £25 a game in the Blackburn End, £27 to £30 in the Jack Walker, what a deal! Quote
Lancaster Rover Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It's not really saving if you can get to all 4 games, if like most you'd struggle to make all of them over the festive period it's a terrible deal! 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just by way of comparison you could've picked up a half season ticket at PNE for £170. 2 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Never learn with the bundles do they. £100 for 4 games in the Blackburn End with one before Christmas isn't an attractive deal. If they have to do a bundle, how about the 4 January home games for £50 or something? Ideal for a Christmas present, probably still wouldn't be much of a take up but would be better than that offer. 1 Quote

At this point it's hard to escape the conclusion that they're deliberately making one or two "offers" they know won't work so that Suhail can tell the FF that "We've tried doing X, Y and Z and it didn't work". Then they can try charging the same numbers of fans (or less) and even higher amount than currently to hit their target. Edited 53 minutes ago by RevidgeBlue 1 Quote
Hasta Posted 31 minutes ago Posted 31 minutes ago £15 Riverside £20 rest of ground Against Wrexham on New Years day and you'd be approaching a full house. Oh, and rename the Riverside in honour of Tony Parkes at half time. Quote
JHRover Posted 5 minutes ago Posted 5 minutes ago It's like I'm living in a time warp. The Club just keeps on repeating the same old tried, tested and failed approaches to ticketing offers and apparently expects a different outcome. They've done similar to this pretty much every year for the last 20 years now. Each and every time the uptake is a matter of 100s at best. Why keep on doing the same thing again and expecting a different outcome? Or maybe they don't expect a different outcome and are just doing it to give an appearance of making serious efforts? And I haven't touched on the diabolical behaviour and approach of the club over the last few years and the clear obvious impact that has had on attendances. Almost as though they don't recognise that actions (or lack of) eventually have consequences. Quote
