I agree on Alebiosu who looked ok on debut but he got forward and try to do what Brittain did for us. Replacing Brittain was always going to tough task given his qualities and how he played the right back role.

I was really concerned about him before yesterday but he pleasantly surprised me....maybe my expectations have dropped through the floor in recent seasons but he seemed ok to me.

Firstly, I think you are right in that our expectations have dropped though the floor in recent seasons and we are in danger of getting a tad over excited when we see an average player following some of the dross we have seen (sadly I think De Neve falls into the dross category).

Did okay yesterday but do wonder if he could have been stronger in the moments just before the ball ran loose for their goal as he fluffed his clearance.

He isn't going to lose many one on ones, as evident yesterday, given his pace.  Technically, I'm not too sure - looks clumsy with the ball at times.

If you think a home 4-1 defeat to Norwich is the same as a 1-0 loss away to a play off chasing and normally top 10 team then that’s on you

If this is our final squad then yes we're going to struggle.

We need a starting RW and at least another option up top.

I'd like the Swiss lad in regardless of Travis staying - if Travis goes then we need 2 in CM, or a switch in formation.

Oh, clearly not....but all the other signals.....continual dumbing down, loss of two many key players at once, lack of investment, absence of football management expertise ( even Waggott had more football management knowledge in his creepy beard than Shadowman and Gestede together). Not to mention, discarding the glue that was binding the team together...

Regarding Henrikson he seems to have caught the “ let’s get pointless yellow cards “ bug from Buckley. You could see the ref saying - “ I can see you’re new to this game but that’s three strikes, next time - you’re out “.

I think he’s on 13 points, 7 for his Bundesliga minutes last year and 6 for his club now being in Bundesliga 2.

This would make him an exceptions panel case.

I’ve no idea how often these result in a yes instead of a no.

Given what we know about Henriksson, in that he is an attacking midfielder who likes to press, I imagine he was thrown in due to Cantwell not being available & just told to try and be a nuisance.  he will not have had the time to learn pressing triggers, and that unfortunately, lead to our press being less effective, as well as Henriksson maybe being caught out by the pace of the game compared to Sweden

Hopefully, given a bit more time in training, he will be a useful addition

I think the GAIS said he was a bit hot headed.  When you're up to the speed of the game it's endearing, when you're not - it's not

Probably wanted to nake an impression too, unfortunately that didn't exactly go to plan. I mean it wasn't quite Flitcrofts but still. I think he'll turn out OK.

Ohashi isn’t a no 10. It’s like if we played  Rhodes there. Neither of them had the tools to play that role. They’re finishers not play makers. If we are going to play both of them go to an all out 4-4-2 and play them as a pair. Or play Kargbo up there with Gueye.

Even for Venkys owned Rovers with Gestede at the helm.

To replace a key player and captain with a bloke relegated to the Swiss second division who potentially needs an operation that will keep him out for months would be absolutely ridiculous.

I can't see the logic in this. He wasn't just getting some attention, he was being wrestled. There were that many bodies I didn't see it clearly until the replay which is a bit of a closeup, so I get why the ref missed it. But you can't keep your balance when someone is all over you like that, and if you can't keep your balance you can't clear the ball cleanly. If it had happened at the other end of the pitch, I wouldn't be giving a striker grief for failing to strike the ball cleanly either.

I’ve seen that but from looking at the rules I don’t see why:

He gets the higher of his appearance points for Bundesliga vs Bundesliga 2 so he can’t lose out there (by playing today).

The other points I mentioned are for the league his club are currently in - surely he either gets the Bundesliga 2 points or he gets none at all.
