As regards Vi's comments about Tyjon and Montgomery being viewed as first team squad players wouldn't people say that Leonard looks a better option at this point? (Not that either are satisfactory.)

I suppose Leonard hasnt got Arsenal allegedly lined up waiting to pay Β£1m for him.

Ismael didn't need to say that Travis has asked to leave. He could simply have batted off questions and limited his talk to the dismal defeat to Bradford.

As I said earlier, he's either an idiot and said it without thinking of the impact it could have on the player and fanbase, or he's complicit in the Regime's cover-up operation which has been gaining a lot of momentum the last few days.

The Regime knows that eyes are on them and pressure is building. Turning the focus on 'wantaway' players and feeding Jackson sob stories about 'lifechanging' offers from Derby all part of that

Don't agree, but there we have it.Β

But what will you be saying if the replacements (if there actually is any) are more cheap foreign imports and it leads us to being relegated.

When we start next campaign in League One will you be rubbing your hands together and saying well at least we got Β£2 million for our captain and 500k for our most experienced defender?

Your point is valid at most clubs who would use the majority of these fees on replacements of a decent standard. We don't do that here

In bold - 100% correct. Whatever reasons Val had, for me, it should not of been said.Β

His intentions are most likely that he is sat on a 3 year deal so not to rock the boat. Nothing sinister beyond that.

He has shown signs of frustration already and he will be worn down at some point. They all have been.

He's shown signs of frustration at historic failings.

This is now where we find out if they're all on the same page going forward. It's the reason I've been saying for months that the most important thing at the club is that Ismael and Gestede are aligned in what's happening.Β

I've been with the Venkys Out! faction side since the Kean fiasco.

I’ve been Venkies out since they sacked Big Sam. They obviously had a death wish for the club even then.

That's down to the recruitment department .Β

I agree.Β

It's far from the first thing I'd be lining up to criticise VI for, I reckon he may well turn out to be one of our worst ever managers which is far more relevant.

However If negotiations have been going on in private behind the scenes then for him to unilaterally announce this without the permission of the Travis camp then it's pretty poor form.

Then of course, there's the possibility that Derby won't meet our valuation anyway in which case VI will have besmirched Travis's reputation in the eyes of the supporters for no good reason.

It comes across as though he is acting to instruction and trying to ensure Travis leaves.

Sorry, think I have misunderstood. I thought your post in quotation marks was VI -ie gobbledegook. Don't think there has been a post of yours I have disagreed with. πŸ™‚

How exactly has he thrown Travis under the bus ?

He was asked a question and he answered it.

What should have been his answer to the question over Travis answer to the Derby bid?

Now if Travis didn't say he wanted to leave and Ismael was saying that to try push him out then that would be throwing him under the bus.

But Travis does want out.Would you have preferred Ismael to say Travis wanted to stay and then he leaves before deadline?

I agree. He was asked a straight question and he gave a straight answer. That’s not β€œ throwing anybody under the bus” , it’s simply telling the truth.

Ok. Β No probs. I tend to post, then reread and correct and I thought you were criticising the unedited grammar / spelling.Β

How do we determine worst ever manager? Previously Iv been given excuses about managers because of injuries or lack of investment

Surely val falls into the category of shafted by recruitmentΒ

If Gestede doesn't know what he is doing and/or is hell bent on a project that cannot possibly work, why is it important they're both aligned?

Was Gestede not in position all last year? Was Pasha not here?

They chose to wait until the summer(Gestede said this)Β

I'll judge him purely on results.

We've had plenty of other managers in the past who've had far less to work with.

Because whatever the plan may or may not be, it definitely won't work unless they are.Β

Oh great. We aren't Sheffield Wednesday.

That said, their players showed a lot more heart and spirit against Leicester than we didΒ  against West Brom.

No we are not but the Venkies dream to be as soon as they can.Β  Why donthey not just do one.Β  It is onvious they have no interest in Rovers at all.Β  Success is not required just the cheapest operating plan possible.Β  I wish widespread Avian Flu on them.Β  Shame to punish the chickens though.Β  I hate em I really do.Β  Do they hold meetings to figure out the best way to piss us off each season.Β  Did they really just allow a team finishing 7th to be totally dismantled?Β  Last january a good striker and one ir 2 others may well have seen a serious tip at the Prem, this lot?Β  Nah let's give em nowt and then avoid it happening again.Β  Hate em simply hate em.Β  Re, Sheff Wed even with the problems their talisman and captain re-upped and is staying whereas ours just wants out, full stop.

Telling the truth is such an odd concept for the Venky Rovers. Probably why people are suspicious.
