Id be quite happy if Leonard stayed, we'd still need one more striker though and have all 4 competing.

If Pasha has blocked this deal Mcguire style you can't imagine VI  will be all that happy no matter how "aligned" ( fined myself £10) they were previously.

Leonard stays there no chance we bring in a striker...Can't see why anyone would want to keep hold of a player who has been injured for the last 18months and clearly can't cope in the championship.

Definitely time to move Leonard on in my opinion. I'm personally loving the freshening up feeling we've had this summer, and a new striker would top that off, especially if it's one that would potentially be our first choice.

Impressive if you can deduce that when he's never been given a chance.

Most of this summer's signings were written off before they'd even flown in .

He has been given a chance though. He had a spell under JDT and got bullied...He has some good attributes but he's just not physical enough for the champ...League 1 is his level, for now anyway....Madness if we keep him here this window if you ask me.

It's a bit chicken and egg.

He was given the chance, but he couldn't stay fit. Someone said he's started 8 games total for us - that's nothing.

Now it seems like he's been written off.

Hard to give someone a fair chance when after 2/3 games they always pick up an injury

being available is extremely important

Like Baradji you mean?

Of all the players to dig your heels in about it seems strange to me that you'd choose Leonard...

It is a bit odd.....maybe we know we're coming up short on our other targets (unsurprisingly)

Maybe also he didn't stick up for the lady who's left. If he had, you wouldnt have thought Suhail would be stepping in to block it.

It'll probably go through with a raft of add ons taking the fee to a sum that "could" reach an eye watering £1.5m.

If Peterbrough reach the Champions League and Harry gets his 10th Cap for England etc etc

He wasn’t actually a giant, he just played like one.

He was one big unit!

You would run from this guy in your boozer!

In the early 1960s, before becoming a cult hero at Newcastle, he, John Kurila and John Cushley formed a trio of rugged defenders at Celtic who were nicknamed “the Big Bad Johns” after a hit song in 1961.

In his autobiography Ferguson recalled facing McNamee – “the worst of these three frighteners”

We are in danger of being too misty eyed over these academy lads and obviously it's only because we want to see them do well here for our mutual benefit.

However a lot of them have been around a while and have stuttered to make the necessary grade one way or another so as long as they get a fee and good add on/sell on, maybe even a buy back, then i'm not too bothered anymore.

As long as it opens the door for bringing fresh blood in and isn't just a cashing out exercise.

Leonard is like most of them. If he goes and we bring in a better replacement great. But if we bring in another Telalovic it’s pointless. All depends on who comes in.

The signing of Morishita, who looks a level or two above most we have brought in for the last few years, gives me faint hope that somehow we bring in a quality striker. But we should aim for him to be first choice, not some third choice squad replacement.

The concern around Morishita for me is that it looks like he's just had his Szmodics season.

An unbelievable year that coincided with him playing further forward that's a massive outlier to the rest of his career.

I heard exactly the same story. Gestede happy with the deal, Leonard said his farewells but Pasha blocked it.

Cue the power struggle.

Bestriding Ewood like a colossal twat in a onesie, Big Suhail shares his football wisdom with all who dare to listen..

COLOSSAL TWATS OUT!!

Maybe. But at least its ‘exciting’, as if he reproduces it he should be a success.

I don’t get that vibe from most of the others.

JRC widely reported as £1m, which would be €1.15m - if it were reversed and he'd gone for €1m then it would be £870k  so I think you have them backwards, and I think you might have done it a couple of times in that list.

Wouldn't dispute your figures -just going off transfermarket (yes I know)..

Surely we can't be letting Leonard out anyway until another striker is brought in

Why ??

In Suhails world it saves a wage !
