She was told to not dress this way , a club uniform could be provided if she has not got one ,as this is not the image the club will accept going forwards. Baring in mind she was dressing this way at Rovers when Rudy was still at school and has always dressed that way which is smart casual.

There is other parts to this but I really can't add to what ive posted previously.

Worried about the image of dress code when the image of the club is already in tatters. Talk about priorities

You know is name is Suhail Shaikh right? Pasha is just a name the 'fans' gave him.

Why would we give him the name Pasha? It doesn't mean anything to us. My understanding was it was a bit of a nickname he has, but certainly not from the fans.

I think these players will gel together. Results have been poor, but I don't think the performances have been that bad. Against West Brom, both teams were as good/bad as each other. We were the better side against Birmingham and definitely against Hull. Norwich we were dreadful.

Why do my views have to conform to what other people think?

I hope you're right. It's a huge ask but we won't know until about 15-20 games in. We might be behind the 8 ball by the time they do, if they do gel.

You can't beat experience of this league though, it's what gets you through 46 games. We've already seen with the signings from overseas this season and last that the relentless nature of the Championship has taken its toll, not even Ohashi who has the energy of a duracell bunny could cope. Sunderland may be an exception, but they spent on very good players.

I'm also concerned hugely we have no leaders and I think like with Kean this is by design. Regardless of the ability of the players we need leaders on the pitch.

It's important to read another opinion,  I don't agree on performances per se, i think Hull aside , average at best, ok outside both boxes in parts , but sure we both agree it would be nice to be a normal club where that's the main debating point!

This was never about contracts

This is ALL on Rudy gestede, his treatment of staff and players and total arrogance.

This started in the last summer when JE invited Weimann to train at Rovers to earn a contract. Gestede hit the roof and wanted him off the training ground.

JE convinced Waggott Weimann could do a job, against Gestedes wishes. That was the beginning of the end of JE and Gestedes relationship.

The day JE left Weimann was summoned by Gestede and informed his days at Rovers were over. Weimann opted to then have a little op to ensure he could get new club in summer.

This was pure spite by Gestede as he didn't forgive JE for bringing Weimann in.

Gestede then pushed a number of employees out the door for none performance related issues . One employee due to not covering her arms at the training ground.

Ive spoken to a number of employees who have departed and some there, but to protect their identities and in some cases NDAs I wont name them

The senior players and sadly Leonard challenged Gestede for dressing down employees and being nasty and in some cases making them cry.

Leonard for his part was banished to train with the kids.

The rest for none footballing reasons and certainly not for contractual reasons (you actually need to be offered a contract to sign one) have all been dismissed this window (all members of the players council).

How anyone can defend the ciub is beyond me.

The best thing about x now is no one can see who likes your tweets. My own tweets its rather damning given the amount of players,,relatives and staff are liking what im posting. (As people know I wil never post a thing i can't prove).

No Gestede , JE would not have exited thats a fact.

These lads not being offered contracts which was RG job, is not an error. It was deliberate to drive them out the club.

I believe (my opinion) the damage hes created in one summer is more than any single person has at any time in the last 15 years.

This aint a plan of success, this is malicious and been made personal due to people refusing to accept bullying at our training ground

Many current staff are walking on egg shells in fear .

One significant departed member of staff i spoke to for 2 hours on the phone a couple of weeks ago and it was extremely alarming whats gone down at the training ground.

Strangely Suhail is barely mentioned in any if these conversations. Its always Gestede.

This aint gonna end well unless that man is removed

Is this not something a newspaper might be interested in running as a story.  Surely public opinion will be if a sympathetic nature for the little guy.  Ciuld this create some pressure for Gestede and his nasty treatment if employees.  Running these players iut because if personal vendettas is fire on the dpot type suff to me.  Get him out of here.

Actually that's down to coaching and tactics, not player quality.

I'd argue that any player with an ounce of football intelligence/quality would do as I've said above. Nobody coaches you to clamp someone on the halfway line to stop a last minute breakaway, a winners mentality and professional intelligence makes you do it.

Did anyone tell Lee Williamson to whollop Ings in the dying moments, no he knew to do it

See this window as a 8/10 - Club operation wise

5/10 - performance wise

On the running of the club (I know results are the only that matter) there has been a big overhaul. Lots of players who we cherish, had connection with the fans, academy lads and solid player leaving the club is not good at all.
In-depth though:

* "old players" - Hyam turning 30 in December and Trav 28 in a month (is in his peak)

* Some didnt perform well enough to build our future on: JRC, Markanday, Buckley

* Some injury prone: Harry Leonard and

* Some didnt want to sign a new contract so we had to cash in: Brittain and to some extent both Hyam and Trav.

* One who didnt want to sign and wanted to go to Barcelona to try a new life.

This lays a good economic foundation of turning the playing staff, who havent been able to reach the playoffs yet, upside down in an effort to reach the playoffs.

We have reduced the wage bill significantly (hopefully) and brought in new players with potential for sales value, just like we did with Hyam and Brittain.  Both deemed relatively successes, but not able to push us to playoffs.

We have replaced the aforementioned players with:

5 players aged 23

3 players aged 24

and 2 players aged 28.

In addition we have kept the promising Igor Tyjon and starting to mould Montgomery into a role in the first team.

Its a lot of uncertainty around the team. Some of the signings I think look extrmely promising and our First XI of

Toth

Alebiosu - Carter - McLoughlin - Ribeiro

  Tronstad - Tavares

Hedges - Cantwell - Miro

Ohashi

We have Wharton, Hickman, Gueye, Gudjohnson, Henriksson, Kargbo, Tyjon, Pickering, Miller

I am not so sure we look so much weaker than last season.

The big worry is losing Championship experience. The new players have a huge job on their hands to show that they can step in. I can imagine they will want to prove those worries wrong. Whether they will or not is another question.

What I do believe is that footballers have the same mentality as any of us that work when it comes to wanting a move. You don't move for less money than what you're on unless there are extenuating circumstances, and I doubt the players really feel the Venky mishandling that we as supporters feel and have to continue to deal with. My guy instinct tells me that it's fanciful to put it down to anything else than the players that have left knew that they could get bumper deals next summer if leaving for free. That's always been the case, and Rovers aren't the only ones affected by that particular state of play.

But whatever the reason, or even if contract renewals aren't being offers, the club is then left with the choice of doing what it's done in the past (far too often in my view), which is to let them go for free in a year's time, or get a few million for them now and try to deal with the problem.

I'm not against the latter, and many have complained about the club not doing that in years gone by. Well they're certainly doing it now. Whether the replacements work out is another matter.

I think Ismael is going to need to get them playing well consistently much quicker than that! Everyone has their own viewpoints and limits, but I think we're really at it now based on the feelings I'm reading.

On the non footballing reasons such as certain food being banned. It’s understandable because Rudy is a Muslim then you have Pape kargbo baradji VI etc. guess we just gotta respect it. But Rudy still needs to go he’s a right clown

Will just echo what others have said, I really struggled to get to sleep last night, what were they thinking selling our steady eddy at the back without having an adequate replacement to come in. Utter madness. Why have we stripped all of our British players from the team, I’m not saying they were world beaters but they at least knew the British game and I’d think would be the voices in the changing room, madness to sell them all. We have basically become Watford, signing foreign players on the say so of agents. Look what happened the last time we done this with our Portuguese influx. I wasn’t thrilled by the window prior to selling hyam but now I think it’s horrendous. Gestede is an absolute snake, I honestly can’t stand the guy.
I thought we should have targeted a proven striker and a loan like Alan Browne yesterday, instead we have done god knows what.
i have said many times on here I’m done and I can’t do it anymore but I will always support this team, no matter what I try and convince myself it just really really bloody hurts how far we have fallen and the long slow death we are all suffering.

....behind the team seems reasonable (although it is really the only outlet for fan ire of all things club related); behind the project? no, just legitimises the loons and snouts in troughs.

Not a go at you personally but this is the exact response they want from the fans. Draw all the attention/fury toward their designated puppet (Gestede this year) and deflect away from their own decisions.

They’re 15 years in now, there is no naivety and they have their own man on the ground. Make no mistake, these are Venky/Pasha decisions with Gestede as the sacrificial puppet for this year (previously Broughton, Waggott, Shaw, Hunt, Senior etc etc)

He was always known as Suhail Pasha in the early years.  He seemed to start using Shaikh more recently

Wikipedia have him listed as Suhail Pasha, The BBC still refer to him as Suhail Pasha - the quote below was from a couple of months ago:

Blackburn Rovers chief operating officer Suhail Pasha has sat down with BBC Radio Lancashire this week - the first time he has spoken to the media publicly since Venky's bought the club in 2010.

No idea mate, was just pointing out that Pasha was not his real name.  I think it was something to do with his shadow man persona back in day and referring to him as “Pasha” maybe evokes a shadowy figure of influence, no idea really. Possibly something pulled from south asian connotations of authority, but again really no idea. Point I was making was that the guy in charge is not called Pasha. But who cares really. I don't like him.

And I'd argue that any player at this level should have an ounce of football intelligence already or they'd be playing for the Dog & Duck instead. We took that corner direct and with too many bodies in the box because we were going for a winner. That's a managerial choice.

its a transition and project we have to get behind regardless

No wonder venkys have gotten away with it for 15 years and now Rudy and Pasha are able to run the place freely.. unless you’re being sarcastic

His full name is Suhail Anwar Pasha Shaikh. He was regularly referred to as Suhail Pasha in the early days, then more commonly Suhail Shaikh. The former seems to have stuck with fans.
