They wont sign another CM having got 3 in (Forshaw, Baradji, Tavares)

As many have said, despite that we are chronically short there in both quality and experience. Tavares looks very poor from what we have seen, granted he missed most of pre season.

Alan Browne would have been a fantastic signing given his experience and quality, the way it was dismissed totally out of hand in the post match interview tells me everything I need to know.

You'll notice I used the word "if". It's contextual as in it applies in the case that he does need surgery and is out for a third of the season.

He did address this in his pre-match interview. Confirmed that Baradji came with an existing injury and was going to be assessed this week. So basically they don't know the time scale yet.

I just looked at the relegation team from 16/17 and a an injury to Tronstad puts us very much in the realms of Hope Akpan, Jason Lowe and Danny Guthrie

no, it is a friendly, and therefore by definition, not competitive (legally or otherwise)

I didn't include him as I was putting him in the Tronstad boat of being decent (albeit fleetingly and very injury prone). Trying to make my point about the lack of quality we have now (and then) if our sole decent midfielder gets injured
