Doesn't add up does it? Which often leads to at time outlandish speculation and claims, which could be fixed by running the club competently, thats all we ask.

As to the claim I was more anti-Eustace than anti-Reos; you can hate the snake and hate the snake charmer!

Without checking i'm assuming it's more than last season in the first phase considering it only limped over 8k by the end of summer.

One thing they dont ever seem to have been pressed on is the stupid phases.

Prices etc theyve been questioned on and given often illogical explanations but the phases means that youve basically got a whole summer where you are limiting sales with people unwilling to pay an inflated price.

Also they keep the claim your seat deadline until the end of the phase, even an extended one, so say you fancy moving seats next to your pals or whatever, but there’s no seats available close by, you therefore can’t unless you wait until phase 2 when non renewed seats open up (and it will cost you an extra £50).

The Gooner is on the record in the last set of FF minutes saying his target is to increase revenue, that ain’t happening if they are 2,000 STs down on last year’s total and they then hike prices.

But yeah, it’s a ‘thank you to the fans’, not a panic move at all…

If a season-ticket was not value for money a month ago, I don't see how it suddenly changes to being value for money. It still isn't for me.

Three seasons out of four around the top end of the league on a bottom half budget.

I have many issues with the owners, but considering the dysfunctional set up they have to work in I have no qualms with what has been served to me on the pitch by managers and players.

I was at the Bolton game yesterday and despite shifting more season tickets than us the standard of football was dire. Had a Bolton supporting workmate with us and asked if it was just because it was a dead rubber, he said that was a decent performance for them 😳 on the flipside the hospitality there put ours to shame, really good day.

Pointless with 7k already sold.

Boycotting now for anyone's own personal reasons then fine fully understandable but biting a nose to spite a face won't make a jot of difference unfortunately.

No matter how angry or fed up of the ownership and gravy train riders some get they can't even force themselves to boycott one game never mind a season.  The support is and has been for a long time now split into 3 camps, hardcore, part time (for varying reasons) and stay aways (odd game aside).

Of course if they'd sold less than 5k i'd take a different view as that would be a statement.

Yep, we’ve already sold more than the total sales in 2021/22 so whatever we end up selling this time it certainly won’t register as a ‘protest’.

That run from nowhere by Val has saved a serious embarrassment to Swaghail.

Does anyone know if this extension includes the ‘claim your own seat’ period?
Or will those existing ST seats that haven’t been renewed, now available? 
Reason I’m asking is that I am not prepared to pay any more in JW Upper and will be moving to the Riverside. I’ve already heard of several others doing the same.

Riverside is going to look a bit better for the players walking out by the sounds of it but the JW will look sparse.

All i see is people saying they are moving there, even from the BBE, only at this club could they create musical chairs with the same set of fans rather than new ones snapping them up.  Costing themselves in the process by people moving to the cheaper stand, might as well just have reduced other areas and tried to actually get more in instead of creating fresh empty seats.

And the reason they bumped up prices in the Riverside in the first place was to get the camera facing stands busier (which worked).

Now they’ve gone the other way and it will empty out the others instead. Such a bunch of incompetents, beggars belief.

All so the regime can turn around and say that they've reduced prices and made efforts to try and increase numbers.

But in reality it won't, it will just break up the support more as a few move from the BBE to the Riverside creating gaps in what has tended to be a well populated and noisy BBE lower.

Sure I read one of them the other day saying that the timing was unfortunate as it coincided with the bad run of results.

Nothing wrong in adapting, and hopefully they'll shift another few hundred.
