Wheelton Blue Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 8,000 sold vs 9,100 last season is a significant downgrade, with miminal expectation that many more will be sold at these prices, I imagine. That's a lot of lost revenue. Let's see how they spin this one... Quote

Mattyblue Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I suppose with price hikes in the BEnd/JW and for kids tickets if we limp to 8,500 they probably won’t be too far off last year’s revenue… bonuses all round! 🍾 3 Quote
JHRover Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Name of the game here is to pretend they are offering price cuts and making efforts to get more people in, without actually doing so or jeopardising their financial targets. Hence the Riverside price cut, knowing full well it should be cheaper given the facilities, it used to be before they upped it and drove loads into the JW stand instead. Only a lot won't move from behind the goals, relatively full and vociferous BBE to sit in the wide areas of the Riverside to save a few quid. But to compensate for the Riverside cut they've upped it in the BBE, which will drive some elsewhere and others put off renewing altogether after another season of nonsense from the management. End result another big drop in numbers. That hardcore that will 'always renew regardless' seems to me to be getting ever smaller. Quote
Athlete Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Clubs a joke riverside now gone up by £80 to £379 JW upper outer to £499 Wont be many takers now but the chadster will put the club spin on the big price hike This is absolute madness they are taking the piss big time 6 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) After the JDT farce season they managed to counter a mass drop off with a £30 discount. This time they've stopped it from being out right disaster with earlier sales and a cheaper change of stand option. Lets not mess about they are doing these things out of desperation nothing else, the pair of clowns are just covering their backsides but at some point it will catch up with them. How many others would lose a thousand ST's after finishing 7th ? The lack of trust in those running Ewood is killing the club slowly but surely. Edited 2 hours ago by Tomphil2 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The late season run out of nowhere also helped. Their luck will run out at some point… though not sure there will be any particular consequences of that. Shrugs of shoulders all round! 🤷♂️ Quote
