Definitely could see a Bullseye kit being an absolute classic still remembered in 50 years. If the club doesnt make one BRFCS should! Could use one of those concept kit manufacturers. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Baradji ‘medium-term’ injury according to VI. This one has dark agents written all over it. 4 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) What a bit of business that was. Replacement for Travis. Henriksson also out with a broken hand. Edited 8 hours ago by roversfan99 Quote

A contract for a player like that coming in on a pay as you play set up can never be straightforwards. Be very interesting to see a breakdown of the particular deal 🤔 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The thing is, there was a big gap between him failing a medical and then us revisiting the deal, and also a further gap between him signing and us knowing what was going on. If they were so intent on signing him, could this recuperation not have started far sooner? Ismael said he might be back after the next international break but maybe even the one after that. Basically he cant put a timescale on it. Ill be amazed if we see him before Christmas. An utterly pointless signing and within a squad lacking quality in depth. Although according to one or two, its a very clever bit of business. Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Saving then thousands per week though having a player in the squad who isn't being paid until he players. I'm sure they'd love a few more like that if they could find them. Quote

If any of these recent signings are any good, it will be more good luck , than management ! Already , the sick bay is becoming busy ! Quote

sharpysharps86 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Can only see a loss in this one. Which is how I felt before the Hull game too so maybe Rover will surprise me again. I'll go 2-1 Watford, Gudjohnsen to come off the bench and get a late debut goal. Quote
pedrob2014 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Do we still have to travel to long distance games on the SWAG Bus or are we now allowed to either fly or use the train like any other professional club Quote

So it looks like train this afternoon then off down South on the bus in peak Friday traffic. Quote

Eternal Optimist Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 2-1 Rovers! We will go 2-0 up and concede around the 80th minute. Followed by 10/15 minutes of completely shitting ourselves but hanging on in there for the win 💪🔵⚪️ 1 Quote

StHelensRover Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago (edited) Sadly, I think we'll lose narrowly tomorrow. Probably 1-0 or 2-1. Watford aren't very good, but our inexperienced, injury prone, cobbled-together defence has me expecting the worst. While I've been very unimpressed with our opening 5 matches, the defence wasn't so much the main worry in going into those 5 matches, it was the other end of the pitch. We've looked very tame in attack aside from the Hull match, because we don't have a proper striker at the club besides Ohashi. Hyam leaving last minute and McLoughlin out will have me watching from behind the sofa. Who am I kidding? Wharton and Carter to stay injury free and play a blinder, 0-4 Rovers (Gueye x4) Venkys, Suhail and Rudy out. Edited 57 minutes ago by StHelensRover Quote

One thing I have taken away from all our games this season, is the thought of "how did he miss that ". A few players have contributed to that thought. 1 Quote
