But why would someone take 40% (6.3) if you can get it all back (6.4). Makes no sense.
Either way it wouldn’t surprise me if the club actually club just pretend the match was played and just offer “£15” tickets for the rearranged game, pocketing all the money for the first game. Let’s see.

The way I read it, the 40% was given if you bought a ticket for the rearranged game, full face value if you could not attend the rearranged game.

I presume because they want to attend the rearranged game.

Does seem a bizarre condition though as how hard would it be to get the full refund and then have someone else get you a ticket to the second game??

The club could try to keep the money from the first game but I’m guessing the EFL wouldn’t be too impressed with their ticketing terms and conditions being broken.

When it says “In these circumstances you would need to purchase a new ticket if the game was rearranged”, I just presume this means the original ticket would be void for the new game, and that a new ticket needs purchasing . Not that the 40% was knocked off the price of the new ticket.

I can see how it could be read as you suggest , but that’s not how I read it. As I said, let’s see. As a season ticket holder I would expect it to be free anyway but nothing surprises me anymore.

Them charging season ticket holders would be a breach of the season ticket terms and conditions.

They might well still try it on though.

Wait so you can get a full refund amd then buy a ticket at 40% discount? 😆

No lol.

If mine and Rigger’s interpretation is right you can either:

Get a 40% refund on the original match ticket but you’d then need to buy a ticket for the rearranged game or;

You can get a full refund on the original match ticket but can’t then attend the rearranged game.

Alternatively, Hasta is right and Rigger and I are talking nonsense. 😁😁

🤣🤣 why oh why is nothing ever straightforward! Surely they should of had a predetermined policy on this ready to roll out to avoid confusion?? Perhaps the tactic is wait a while let people forget as not to lose money

They probably thought it would never happen, so why have a process in place.

So the red card stands. What about the yellow cards for our players?

If one of those players is banned for the replay based on accumulated yellows…
