Popular Post lraC Posted 5 hours ago Popular Post Posted 5 hours ago The bullying them, seems to have raised it's head here, good and proper. We have heard accusations of alleged bullying that caused a certain member of staff to cry and has allegedly led to players being frozen out and staff and players leaving. We have also heard about a fan being threated with legal action for posts made on this very site, quoting some of the things he was told. We now have the local paper banned, for things that they have now refuted in writing, so I have to come to the conclusion that this is also a bullying tactic to try to gag them. Nothing to see here though, according to some. 10 Quote

benhben Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What effect do the coalition statements have? Seemingly the club have no interest in the opinions of fans and fan groups. When is this independent football regulator due to be operational? Are these things the supporter trusts could refer to the regulator? I cant see any statements or fan pressure having any effect on the cancers in charge. The only way for change is some official external pressure that forces change or causes Venkys to sell up. Cant see it unfortunately. Quote
Devon Rover Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This is not intended to be negative, especially as I think those statements are very good. But what is the intended audience and influence for them? Until Glen kindly posted them above, I hadn't seen them. That's probably because I'm not a group member. But I would imagine it isn't group members who need to receive and read the statements but those of us outside them, and the media, if they are to have any effect. Have I missed those anywhere, in which case ignore me?! 1 Quote
47er Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Sheff Wed players told they won't be paid on time ---again. There's always someone worse off than yourself!! We only have the second worst owners in Britain. 2 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We are worse off in the long run as he’ll be gone sooner rather than later and a grand old club like them will recover. We will continue to see wages paid (for an ever lower wage bill) for ever and a day as we fall down the leagues. 9 Quote

Both of these statements are true, Sheff Weds owner is worse than ours, but their silver lining is that this means he will be gone sooner, enabling a recovery, whilst Rovers are stuck in a seemingly endless cycle of decline 2 Quote

But I fear that will still be a long time coming, at which point there'll hardly be anything left. 1 Quote

philipl Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Expose? Which one???? They could run one a day for at least a week. Andy Cryer sent a welcome message of solidarity. Now there is a gentleman who went through a lot when covering the Rovers. I will repeat myself, the club statements offer no room for compromise. A very dangerous game for the club to be playing. Gestede may not know the extent of the skeletons littering Ewood since the start of 2010. Find it difficult to believe Pasha doesn't know at least 80% in which case this ban is both reckless and desperate. Edited 1 hour ago by philipl 1 Quote

To the extent there are any skeletons, not sure why the LT would be aware of any of them. They could have a field day highlighting instead of ignoring as previously some of the stuff that's in the public domain though. Investment turned down for the ladies team, deliberately relegated, now losing anything from 5 or 6 nil to 13 nil every week. The Court Case. Wharton offloaded for a pitiful amount to keep the lights on. Sky Sports removed from Blues Bar. The dispute with the kit manufacturers. CEO left and not replaced. The allegedly toxic atmosphere within the Club and the very high turnover of both playing and non playing staff. And that's all relatively recent stuff without even examining the transfer deadline day debacles or before that events from years ago. Edited 45 minutes ago by RevidgeBlue 2 Quote

I am convinced it has been all kept under wraps to keep the relationship intact. Who knows what's going on behind closed doors now, but they could have a filed day now, unless the club back down and quickly. Quote
