Ah yes, I remember about Gueye now. Shows how pointless the point system is when someone like Gueye automatically qualifies but a better player, like Toth for example, doesn't.

I'd imagine they'll get that Toth paperwork sorted..right after the window closes.

Has to be done during a transfer window - so this will probably prove to be right.

Kargbo can be converted too.

really?  great news, I though he just about missed out, by under 200 minutes so something similar

I cant wait to see which random from Belgium is next 😉

But fingers crossed for another Toth/Ohashi/Baradji, rather than a Telalovic/Wahlstedt/Kargbo/Henriksson/Siggy (did I miss any?  or is that the full "ESC punts" list)

Maybe but he can't be converted into a useful player at this level.

Because he’s played for two clubs in the last 12 months his time on the pitch has to be weighted.

I followed the instructions on how to calculate this and got him at 39.7% of qualify minutes (as at 1st January).

He’d need to be on 40% to have enough points to be converted  but if the decimal place is .6 or above you round up.

I guess the big question is do we trust my maths…

I see. So, last minute, then 'it got confirmed so late there wasn't time to scour the continent'

A punt on an injury prone, allegedly lazy and disruptive Frenchman in a position we don't use in our tactics?

Glad we're 1 step ahead this January

Well he speaks the executive lingo. Mind you that didn’t help Gueye.

Ismael has said we want 2 strikers. We need 2 so that would be correct.

No mention here of why the signings havent been made as suggested.

Dont see why we suddenly dont need a right wing back.

We badly need a left wing back.

I'll paraphrase, we're all over the gaff with a budget of around £0 to spend.

Ellie Youan 8 goals in 50 games in the SPL crikey

I absolutely despair if there's any truth in that rumour.

Why do we persist in chasing shite that we haven't actually pulled the trigger on in previous windows?

Kargbo and Hedges also spring to mind.

Knowing what total horseshit the leadership was coming out with when chatting with themselves might not be considered a plus by said "management"...

Ability, stats, attitude, age - none of that matters.

As long as they are on the Steve Kean / Adam Owen / Rudy Gestede 'money-go-round' list then they are a potential signing. Both Youan and Miller signed for Hibs in June 2022. Agents still run the club
