Elrovers Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If we play like we have done the last two games, I’m sure we can win this game. With key players returning back from injury helps the squad a lot. Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If we cant win this one we are in serious trouble make no mistake. No score prediction..over to you Ismael. 1 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago We will lose this one because everyone is expecting to win so easily. Rovers 0 Sheff Wed 1 (Cadamarteri 90+3) Seriously though if we don't win this it's time to just shut Ewood for the rest of the season. 1 Quote

Wont say that we will lose, but we find it more difficult against teams who are more content to be reactive, and who do not play out from the back (looking ahead to a week of Sheff Wed, Oxford, Portsmouth). Whereas teams who are more expansive, and invite us to press as they play out from the back (Leicester, Southampton, Ipswich twice) suit our style The above is only magnified in home games. This is not an excuse, Ismael needs to find a second way to play when teams do not allow us to use "plan a". Ismael generally sets us up well to start games, but seems to struggle to think on his feet and counter changes to the flow of the game. Almost invariably, his mid match changes (not just subs) make us worse Edited 5 hours ago by KentExile Quote
Backroom Tom Posted 5 hours ago Backroom Posted 5 hours ago Absolute must win, they’ve won 1 all season and are a rag tag bunch. Fail to win and I’ll start to worry. 4 Quote
Wheelton Blue Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago My neighbour is a Wednesday ST holder. Reckons that their first 11 will give most sides a game and that they should have beaten PNE at the weekend. They have no strength in depth though, and suffer with inferior subs. Sounds familiar. 2 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If we fail to win this one then even the most positive of fans (yep, that one) will have to admit that we’re in deep doo doo. 1 Quote
TheKitGuy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago We are only as good as our opposition and tend to stoop to lower levels if the opposition is poor 2-1 Wednesday Quote

Tomphil2 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Same old same old and it'll be somebody else's fault. Rovers 1 Weds 1 1 Quote
davulsukur Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago A must win. Absolutely no excuses. If he fails to win this, I want Ismael sacked straight after the full time whistle (I want him gone anyway but still) 3 2 Quote

sharpysharps86 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Simply a must win. There can be no excuses for this one. I imagine it'll be the same starting XI again. Cantwell to probably get a bit more time off the bench. Rovers 2 - 1 Wednesday. I don't think it'll be comfortable. Quote
AllRoversGirl_ Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Sheffield Wednesday are not going to be pushovers Remember, they're going through a tough period, and L1 is certain for them. However, if we can't win against Sheffield Wednesday, I'll be questioning the mentality again. Never mind the embarrassment Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I think they have sold their ticket allocation and are asking for more. A full Darwen End rarely works in our favour. Edited 2 hours ago by SIMON GARNERS 194 Quote

Agree we have also lost only 3 less games than them and we have scored only 4 more goals than them all season we have only scored 18 goals all season!!! will likely be an even match Quote

RoversTilliDie Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago The crowd against Ipswich, was lower than the previous home game against Q. P.R. We were outsung with the Ipswich crowd at times. We need a big crowd to spur the team on. After saying that, there was over 20,000 in attendance for the Derby game, and we still lost. Quote
RoversTilliDie Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago The next two home games are 6 pointers, fail to win these, and we're in deep trouble. You can count on this team to fail. 1 Quote
