wilsdenrover Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Possible misconduct charge? (I don’t see how Rovers could argue 32.3.2 applies): Quote
roverblue Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Ewood is a rotting corpse, neglected by its owners on the pitch and in the stands. The whole ground is desperate for investment especially the Riverside where I sit. I hope the club is fined for this shambles, Oxford on Tuesday night must be in doubt too. The pack of losers in the boardroom will no doubt have their excuses at the ready. Wtf were these things supposed to do… 3 Quote
Popular Post Guy N. Cognito Posted 23 hours ago Popular Post Posted 23 hours ago The owners don't want to invest on the pitch, off the pitch, or in the pitch. So, why the fuck are they still here? 30 Quote

We cant let this happen again. We are Blackburn Rovers Good post and well done for not doubling down. Last time it was that it should have carried on, it was just a bit of rain, the referee was wrong, it was McKenna's fault etc. All along its been the fault of the owners. The reaction when the ref stopped the game was anger towards the owners and rightly so. Quote

StHelensRover Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) The special brucey bonus from this is that now we'll get to play them after the transfer window has opened, their new owners are in and they'll have been able to sign a few players. By then they won't be as soft an outfit and might mug us off in the same way Ipswich did on Tuesday. Edited 23 hours ago by StHelensRover 1 Quote

They can order a partial or full replay. They have discretion re terms/conditions of any replay. Ok thanks. I suppose if they could change the result then any other Club adversely affected could rightly complain about the integrity of the Competition being compromised. 1 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) U.K. Winters are set to get wetter...will someone warn the f'kin Gobshytes running our Club through the Floor that action needs taking and fast. Still no comment from the Club? Edited 23 hours ago by SIMON GARNERS 194 1 Quote

roversfan99 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Not the most pressing matter but how bad is Lewis Miller on the ball? He is like this every game so cant blame the weather, spooning every ball including the most pathetic free kick I think ive ever seen. I didnt think our performance for an hour was particularly good but the conditions made that very difficult. Miroshita though was the one looking to always make something happen. Forshaw was good but an injury to him seemed inevitable and was for nothing. Quote

We cant let this happen again. We are Blackburn Rovers I might be wrong but I think it takes time to bed a pitch in. Trying to upgrade the pitch now might actually make things worse. Even trying to stick a sticking plaster on it might not make any difference. I'm certainly no expert on grass though. But yeah, I won't be missing my lawn for another oooh three months. This is a new low lads. If we cancel a few more games over the winter then I would fully expect some sort of points deduction, I mean there would have to be wouldn't there? There's timings about being unable to fulfil fixtures because of admin. So you would expect some sort of provision for being unable to fulfil fixtures because of inadequate facilities. It's diabolical and deeply saddening that we've come to this, but not in any way surprising. But this isn't even our low point, not but a long way I don't think. It's surely going to keep getting worse 1 Quote
AvRover Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I for one won't be going for the foreseeable now. It's a disgrace and I won't subsidise it. Change is needed. 5 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I hope the FA take really stringent action. If a stand was unsafe the Licensing people would shut it down. If the ground as a whole wasn't up to professional standards the League wouldnt allow us to compete. Well, the pitch isnt up to professional standards. No different from the rest of the ground imo. 9 Quote

JamieUK Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago We have a 3 week break in home games after 4th January (FA Cup aside). Roughly the same time non-league Rochdale are allowing to install new drainage and a new pitch: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce91x2pdelno Just get it booked in tomorrow. If we're drawn at home in the cup I don't see it being an issue to switch to being away... Quote
