Well that your opinion RF99. I have told you mine and yesterday's pitch conditions were worse than Ipswich and were happening sooner in the game. 2 hours ago, roversfan99 said: After the Ipswich game, you echoed the club that there was nothing we could do and it wasnt our fault. It was bullshit at the time but a second abandonment seems to have turned those defending the club last time into criticising the club which is at least one small positive. The club and the owners deserve the blame so fair play for not sticking to your guns. Same old BORING lines of Echoed the club doesnt help your point. Maybe try accepting my opinions. I stand by Ipswich game abandonment comments. Quote

M_B Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Said last time, if the problem is the actual drain into the river not being able to get rid of the water quickly enough, then add more outlets and/or intercept the drain, dig a sump and pump it over the top into the river. 1 Quote

B16Rover Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Is there a condensed timeline of the drainage issues/lack of action? Fitted in the late 80s, Waggots has mentioned he got a quote refused at board level to repair. After the first postponement we've fitted a PVC pipe into the river, had another postponement and are now on course for a third Vs Oxford? Anything im missing? What have united utilities said? Quote

The Club must ensure that adequate arrangements are in place to maintain its pitch in good order, as required under Regulation 13. 28.4 Each Club shall take all reasonable steps to maintain its pitch in good order. I completely agree that had yesterday got to 77 minutes like the Ipswich game it would have been even worse. The rain was incessant for the next hour or two. But you clearly do need the video as, at the point of abandonment, the amount of surface water visible against Ipswich and coming up from the movement of the ball was worse than yesterday. You can say “yeah but it’s my opinion”, but the amount of surface water is factual rather than opinion and the pictures prove you are wrong. https://youtu.be/LnVSeY2pkgI?si=kK1sugS3B8kic4SU Edited 9 hours ago by Hasta Quote
