Just spoke to Wednesday. They are incredulous that our ticket office is closed. Had loads of inquiries from Rovers fans

And that’s coming from a club in Administration.

Wednesday did say to ring again on Monday about midday when their “management” might have a solution. But they didn’t hold out much hope.

Who’s to blame for this - Rovers or Wednesday or both? Three of us made a late decision to attend and it looks like it’s not possible. No information and no one answering phones at Ewood of course. Pathetic

Same here, 5 of us.

It's mental.

A rival club more willing to help than our own.

Says it all.

I wonder if Wednesday will complain to the EFL about this?. They're the ones losing vital revenue over it.

Hopefully they do.

And if Wednesday did complain, what do you think the EFL would do ?

Childish playground tactics from the pillocks running it because lots are only going away and not buying home tickets is my opinion.

Could it be a sort of revenge mission? Boycott selling the fans tickets due to the call for a Boycott of a match.

Think it's just playground stuff trying to force people into buying a few more home tickets but of course - as per the facebookers - It'll not be anybody at Rovers fault.

Well, according to Wilesden we're in breach of EFL Rules so whilst Im not sure what the range of possible sanctions are, maybe they could fine us or order us to compensate Wednesday in some form?

Even a formal slap on the wrist with the threat of a suspended sanction might be enough to prevent this sort of thing happening again to Rovers Fans.

Hope Wednesday put a claim in for lost revenue.

The problem there is - how do you put an accurate estimate on the number we WOULD have sold?

Bit of a "How long is a piece of string?" question

Well assuming it is entirely Rovers fault, I would be claiming the value of a sell out. Granted that was unlikely to happen, but thats tough and would teach them a lesson.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this specifically but it appears you can buy home tickets online for Wrexham and Charlton without the need for the Club being open per se.

So, if it isn't Wednesday's doing,  what's the difference between those games and the Wednesday away game other than Rovers being peevish towards our own fans?

I agree completely but that would be unlikely to be implemented I fear.

Me too, but let’s face it, they wouldn’t do it again, if that did happen.

You can also buy the Hull away FA cup tickets.

Daughter's rung as well, bloke  said it will probably be a no, but I'm going to ask the question because loads have rung up and it's ridiculous what Rovers have done.

He said it probably depends if they have the staff to do it.
