Based on the team news:

---------------------Toth

------O'Riordan--McLoughlin--Pratt

Miller--------------------------------Powell

------------------Tronstad

-------------Mori-------Cantwell

----------Ohashi---------Jorgensen

Something like that.

If Morishita is back and able to start then I'd consider playing him at LWB, give Ismael is completely married to that system.

Either that or have him in the middle with Tronstad and basically anyone but De Neve at LWB.

Powell is the obvious pick there

Morishita and Alebiousu back will be a boost for us in time but think this one will Be too soon.

1-1 or 0-1 with a reason to blame the ref

Five guys back for tomorrow, & Gudjohnsen & Montgomery next week. I want the team successful. By that, I mean let’s start seeing some 3 point results, & climb up the table, very soon.

I give Ismael one game, to get this bunch on track. I will change my prediction for tomorrow. Oh, we still lose, but it’s much more close, 1-2.

I’d feel a lot better about Val if he actually did change the formation. Try something else, because we are not creating goalscoring changes as is.

I actually think we'll win today.

We'll have comments about how it helped not having the toxic protesters in the stadium and Val will say "see we've got a few injured players back, we can compete now!". I mean to a certain extent we have missed some of the injured/absent players, mainly Alebiosu and I think we will look a bit better with him back. Realistically we can't get much worse right?

2-1 home win after falling behind early on.

Issue with falling behind, this team has no fighting spirit. That 2-2 draw to Charlton was a rare comeback draw. Usually happens once a season them.

That is too narrow, no width down the left, and Mori isn't really a winger on the right either

Cashin not mobile enough to play full back

Is Alebiosu actually fit now?  If so then Id start him

                                             Toth

              Miller           Atcheson/O'Riordan           Pratt

Alebiosu    Baradji/Mori    Tronstad    Cantwell    Powell

                          Jorgensen              Ohashi

I'm sure McLoughlin will start though

Oxford was the same, not that its much consolation as we should be beating both those teams........

We have got more points at Ewood this season after falling behind than we have after taking the lead.

6 points after falling behind

4 points after taking the lead.

Not much in it, but still.

Still think we'll win today despite no rational reason, will be like a cup upset.

Wouldn't surprise me if the club have given out hundreds of extra free tickets for this one as well.

Whatever the result, the club and Venkyclappers will find a way to spin it against those who boycott, but take no notice. We all know that attendances in recent years have zero bearing on results at Ewood Park.

He's right footed and sooooooo slow.

Fair play to anyone actively staying away today. It is time that the fans showed some cojones in light of the appalling anti-strategy that has been foisted on the club by the shadow man and his super-light-sidekick / glove puppet (and yes, I believe it entirely possible that Pasha has his hand firmly up that lad's backside working his mealy mouth.

Despite it being a boycott game, I suspect most of us will still have a glance at the score and this forum as the afternoon unfolds. It is well beyond any reasonable time for some of the better 'injured' players to be coming back into contention, so with any luck there might be a bit more steel and resolve about our utterly plan-free game plan. That said, if I see TGH holding his hands out in supplication one more time following yet another baffling attempt to put the ball anywhere his team mates aren't, I may well feck the laptop out of the nearest window.

Here is to a miraculous change of fortune against the hornets..

(slow tortoise race) Ponderous Rovers 1 Hapless Hornets 0

(the torture goes on) Predictable Rovers 0 Hopeless Hornets 0

(Watford give Rovers WhatFor) Pathetic Rovers 0 Horrible Hornets 3

COYB!

PASHA OUT!

PUPPET BOY OUT!

VENKYS OUT!!

I thought he often played there for Legia? Regardless, he's still better than De Neve.

I think he played FB for them for a bit before being moved forward - but there's a big difference between playing FB and WB.

Ignore Ribeiro and Pickering for a moment, just look at TGH. He's a CM who isn't athletic enough to play WB at this level, it's a hugely demanding role.

Started for them as a right wing back/full back, but was unsuited to the role so they moved him further forward, played most of his football for them as an attacking midfielder, mainly central, but occasionally coming off the flanks
